It's nice to see the helm :).
-
Although I'm apprehensive about Cates' villainous depiction of Donald Blake in this arc, the promise of Thor battling the Midgard Serpent is too good to write off this next story just yet. And I'm also glad to see Thor wearing the helm, he looks better with it than without it.

Donny Cates is reinforcing my belief that he will do the god of thunder justice

At least he's not currently throwing pointless shade at the Thunder God.
That said, it seems odd that Blake would go to any conscious limbo, or was a different person back in the day

Re: Dr Donald Blake.
Was it ever established by JMS how Blake - as a separate, functioning entity - suddenly appeared after Ragnarok in Thor vol.3 #1?
There is also the odd loose-end of the original human template, Don Blake - in stasis for years in a Norwegian cave after Tales to Astonish #83 - being accidentally killed by Sign.
Was THAT ever fully explained?

I wouldn't be surprised if Aaron makes Jane a perfect Phoenix host.
Thor, All-Mother, Valkyrie...
Might as well go all out and make her a Phoenix :p

For fans of Donny Cates...
He’s just done a quick AMA on Twitter. When asked what work he’s most proud of, he said: God Country, Thanos Wins & Prey (upcoming Thor arc)...sounds like we are in for a wild story.
-
Funny all the objection about Thanos and Galactus...Thanos is basically enhanced which people seem to forget. Galactus needs to consume power to stay 'mighty' and had humble origins. In a universe where a human mutant is made to be uber powerful (Franklin) why is this a stretch?
I don't get the fixation about Jane Foster either. She's still just a template from an existing male character, no many how many power sets they give her.

I LOVED this. Fantastic. This is a crazy story and I'm all in for it.
