I disagree. She likes showing off her body, and this might be the most conservative outfit she's ever had.
It's like the Gen X one but it looks like she changed her costume a lot.
I wonder if Namor will show up

yeah it feels like a modern version of Gen X and I can dig that. But I am in favor of Emma sporting different outfits again.

I know, and im so glad it looks like that may be happening again. Like from the 3 costumes shes going to be wearing in HoX, I hope to god this continues cause shes someone who needs multiple different outfits

it's one of the few things I enjoyed of the Land/Fraction era.

I would actually be ok if Namor shows up trying to charm and romance Emma. There is nothing wrong with her finally moving on from Scott and occasionally dating someone.

Emma should change costumes every two issues or so. That way at the end of the year they could release the Emma Frost Fashion Issue to show all the outfits she wore through the year.
So Mama is apart of the Marauders team cool
Duggan wrote the best Emma in recent years in Infinity Wars so I'm super hyped for this. The dialogue should be delicious.

Yeah but not THAT creep.

Oh I don't want her to be with Namor ongoing, I just wouldn't mind if he showed up for a couple of issues trying to woo her and she still rejects him.

I love that thigh high boots, a catsuit, a fur collar, half gloves and a huge collar are considered conservative for Emma. I personally like the outfit, it seems like her making a slight concession for being at sea, but not overly so.
Marauders looks rad, I'm well up for it if the writing nails the fun dynamics between the cast.
No Emma fan should want her anywhere near Namor; not only their relationship was established in one of the worst retcons the X-men had (and there's a lot of bad ones), it robbed Emma of her agency and made her a pawn caught in the dick measuring contest between two big alpha males, Shaw and Namor. It was also used as an excuse to break up her and Scott (which is bad in itself, IMO), but also relegated her to the sidelines of the franchise and set her up as the crazy ex we saw in Rosenberg's run.
I've just noticed something. There is a overarching theme and it's because I have such disdain for the concept that I noticed it.
This is mutant empire.
The concept of CIA as a branch of empire. - X-Force
Colonialism by sea - Marauders
Colonialism of space - New Mutants
Colonialism of other dimensions - Excalibur
The new outfit is nice but it's missing a belt I think...

Marauders seems like they're a rescue mission. New Mutants literally is, and also about sharing the good news. I don't think there will be a mutant empire, just a mutant nation.
