Ironmam wouldn't even be able to defeat Thanos ship, let alone Thanos.
I don't really see Issue with Tony beating the Black Order, if Maw is killed right away with a quickdraw beam to the head or something. That is to say, I definitely thnk Tony could beat Proximia, Corvus, and Cull at once if he's got bleesing edge, hulkbuster, and iron legion.

Thanos's ship has no durability fears, do I don't see why any Avengers era suit couldn't tear it to shreds.

People keep ignoring that Thanos is cutable, and blades have been standard gear since at least Iron Man 3. An armor of Iron Man should be able to kill him if they all go knife happy.

The only blades that seemed give Thanos pause were his own Vibranium shredding swords or Stormbreaker. Both of which seem considerably above any knife Stark's been shown to have.

There was that bit when Gamora stabbed him in Knowhere, but that was a fake created with the reality stone to lure Gamora out.
-
He was also careful to block both Loki's and Iron Man's stab attacks, rather than simply tanking them as he had other attacks.
-
Thanos does not have compartmentalized durability. The MCU just often has crazy good blades. Anything Asgardian or his own weapons can probably cut him.
-
Didn't Tony form his suit into a giant melee weapon for his big "make Thanos bleed one drop" hit? One assumes if making it pointier would have helped he'd have done so.
-
He made big hammers for his make Thanos bleed moment. Then he formed a cutting weapon, implicitly in response to this, and this is the one attack from him Thanos was careful not to get hit by.
-
And he grabbed that blade with his bare hands. He did the same to Dr. Strange's magical energy blade as well.Nebula slashed him across the face with her sword and did nothing. Drax struck him with his blades (which could cut Cull Obsidian) and all it did was knock him away with the sheer force of the blow.
This Thanos can be cut by anything is just speculation and wishful thinking on your part.
-
No, he grabbed Stark's wrist, not the blade itself. He grabs Strange's blade from the unedged back, not the edged front.(play it on .25 and you'll see) Drax's slash hits him in the armor, not the flesh. Nebula hits him with some kind of baton, not a blade.

Again, unless specifically stated, compartmentalized durability is not a thing. The weapons of that universe are just bonkers.
Also, you are wrong about the magic blade catch. A different angle shows it hit the palm of his hand with his fingers circling the back and thumb over the front. He just straight up catches it. I'll attach a picture.
MCU edged weapons are just crazy good. They cut Hela, Thor, Destroyer Armor, Kurse, Vision, Cap's shield and Stormbreaker cuts Thanos.
