Then comes Klobuchar with the smackdown, "Well, there are three women here who have fought really hard for women's rights."
-
Beto is hard to listen to. He stands out for that in this field of pretty good debaters.
-
I told you guys Warren was a debate goddess. She silenced a lot of critics outright stating support for Medicare For All. Any Bernie fans who were hesitant on her because of that will be onboard with her as a next option (some will still see foreign policy as an issue). She's clearly winning. Booker coming out a lot stronger than I thought, I just don't see as much sincerity with him.
Klobucher and Delaney tanking any shot they have. Warren got a complete gift not having the big guns on this stage. She's going to come out of this great.
Also all those people that didn't raise their hand put a target on their back.

He struggled with Cruz even though he was right on every issue with him

Booker: Oh?! You think you can speak Spanish, bro?! I'll show you my Spanish skills!
Oh, Beto is dying out there. Some get a stage cane and yank him off.

Booker and Castro's ideas complement each others.

Immigration is the one issue Julian is strong on and he's eating Beto alive

Castro knows the issue inside and out.
-
Uh oh, Beto and Julian are not getting along.
-
Julian Castro is shooting up reeeeeeeally high on my list. Think he surpassed my expectations.
Oh, I keep forgetting Ryan is a thing, and then he reappears.
-
Booker is doing pretty good, but he's not doing anything Outstanding yet. My impression of him is rising.
-
....ummmmmmmm... is anyone going to toss a question at Warren? She's been rather quiet.
Also, I think I heard someone opening a bag of chips.
-
Amy klobuchar would make a good Secretary of State.
Julian Castro would make a good Homeland Security Secretary.

His issue is he won't be nearly as strong on any other issue beyond this. Immigration being in the news primed this for him. If that changes or there's a debate where the economu or foreign policy is the primary factor, he won't do what he did in this segment. Similarily Tulsi has nowhere to go beyond foreign policy.
He is however doing a lot better right now than I thought. I figured he would be stuck in the Klobucher/Delaney category of being kind of third tier. He's definitley moved up from that.
I still think this is Warren's night overall. After that I think Booker/Castro and oddly enough De Blasio are doing the best.
Beto is the loser right now.

My thought's exactly. At least for Julian. Not totally sold on Klobucher.
