Marvel vs DC 2021 - If this happened who would you want to see face off?

With talk of [URL="https://www.newsarama.com/49564-gail-simone-rallies-fans-for-new-marvel******dc-crossover.html"]Gail Simone tweeting[/URL] about how next year is the 25th Anniversary of Marvel vs DC, I wanted to know if this happened, who would you want to see face off against your favorite character? Or which pairing would you like to see?

I personally think that Namor vs Aquaman would be lazy and redundant, also it would never go in Namor's favor anyways as Aquaman is the more popular and likable mainstream hero especially with his movie out, and I am quite tired of the very old Aquaman vs Namor debate.

I would love to see Namor vs Wonder Woman.

Easiest way to do it would have heroes swap villains.

Would it be a canon crossover or part of the crossoververse?

I'm always up for a big showdown between DC's mystical characters and Marvel's mystical characters. That includes Spectre, Juggernaut, Shazam, Goblin Queen, Magik, Black Alice, the Enchantresses from both houses, Raven, Talisman, etc., as well as the more popular characters like Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch, Zatanna and Dr. Fate. Heck, throw in a few gods and primordial magic beings like Zom and Demiurge, too, while you're at it.

Superman vs Silver Surfer.

I hope it won't be a dopey Hero vs Hero story. It'd be more fun to see Batman vs a Spider-Man villain. That's a battle I'd love to see.

and so on and so forth. Having DC heroes face what Marvel Heroes have to and vice versa would be a good eye opener.

I think the swapping villain idea is good. Hero vs hero just tends to lead to a team-up anyhow.

Black Bolt vs Captain Atom

I read that JLA/Avengers was originally going to spend more time on the "merged" universe where the JLA and Avengers live on different worlds but constantly team up with each other (like the JLA/JSA). In the final version we mostly just saw them fighting each other and then, at the end, a big free-for-all battle with bad guys.

So that would be something they could do that wouldn't just be rehashing the old crossovers: make it like a JLA/JSA story where the Marvel characters and the DC characters have to team up, both as a group and in pairs. Then you could have the team-ups people want to see, either expected ones (Scarlet Witch/Zatanna) and out-of-left-field ones.

There have already been enough crossovers where they fight each other, now let's see them help each other (and sometimes fight).
