Xavier wanted Mystique to plant a seed in the space station they were blowing up?
They only destroyed Mother Mould, The Forge is still there, bobbling around Sol.

They did not blow the entire base, they only threw Mother Mold into the Sun.
The base itself was not destroyed. Which was always pretty stupid, it would have been much simpler to simply destroy everything. Now we know why Xavier and Magneto wanted it to be a mission as it was designed instead of simply blowing everything by launching Omegas as if they were weapons of mass destruction.
This is very interesting. It helps me understand why they left the station and crew all completely operational to just build another Mother Mold. We know they drove Orchis off Earth but they knew the space station was still out there.
Love the subtleties in the initial House of X books where you can tell something was off with Mystique but just enough that it could’ve easily been a quirk/Mystique just being Mystique.
Never to be mentioned again just like Arakko, Orchis and Hordeculture. Typical Hickman!
Still don’t understand why the “one-in-done stories to set up future plot lines” is still getting questioned at this point.

Oh thanks yall. What on earth do Xavier and Magneto want with the base and does Moira know about it?
a winter harvest ...
So I guess the Vault plot is just being dropped?
I guess so? I've only recently caught up with the title and I'm so confused by what's been going on.
a winter harvest can be for the winter council, or since in winter harvest isnt the most plentifull, perhaps a contigency plane?

Which Quiet Council table is "Winter"?

I know, right? It's not as though they'll never, ever be picked up, ever again.
In this, HiX-Man is channeling Claremont, the master of seeding ongoing plot lines to be resolved over years.
Which Quiet Council table is "Winter"?
Sinister, Mystique and Exodus
In X-Men # 3 they also call the old state of Krakoa (contracted, pre-nation state) their "winter version". That is, the version of Krakoa that almost killed the X-men in Giant Size.
So, it can't be good. They always use "winter" for bad things.
Which Quiet Council table is "Winter"?
exodus, mystique, sinister
exodus, mystique, sinister
Of course. Hm. I got nothing.
if we look at the tables like they are the fae courts, the seelie court : spring/summer, were the good fae
while the unseelie court: winter/auttum, were the agressive, malicious and most vicious of the fae, and considering mutants recent conection to nature and magic, their diverse supernatural traits, they arent that distant from Fae

Well, Claremont had an "A" plot then the seeding were "B" or even "C" level. With X-Men, the "A" plot is only seeding. I don't know if the plan is for Hickman to go back or others to pick them up for a full arc. It's a very different approach to just have 6 issues of building out enemies and threats.
