Time to tally the votes!
1 vote each: ed2962, Lord Mikel, Nschornhorst, nx01a, worstblogever
2 votes each: CaptCleghorn, Greg Hatcher, Guicho, PaulBullion
and we have a two way tie with four votes each for Ajax_X and The Darknight Detective
If anyone wants to double check my tally, please feel free!

It does look like a Tie, so since I didn't vote this time I'll break it by going with Ajax_x.

Congratulations to Ajax-X for a marvelous and fantastic cover which expresses the power of Jack Kirby's art, but for a cover design one usually expects of a George Perez. And I'm not just bandwagoning; I gave an HM to that entry, you know.
What has the captain learned this week? He has been returned to his early days of reading FF and wondering what the fuss about a guy named "Kirby" meant. I was still in single digits agewise, mind you, so cut me some slack. As time went on, he picked up more about how the tasks were split between Stan and Jack. This week's contest has beautifully restated the effect Jack Kirby has had on not only fans, but fellow creators. The cover is considered the page which sells the book. Or it was in the days before solicits and creator focus. In the days when spinner racks ruled, Kirby sold books.
And, of course, thanks to Enigmatic Undead and Spike-X for their votes.

Congrats Ajax-X, the way Arthur Adams incorporated the FF#100 Kirby homage into that sprawling FF epic, is fantastic, and incredibly clever.
Great cover choice!
-
Congrats Ajax, I loved that it was also FF #100 (V. 2) and that they used the same cover blurb.
And though I garnered no votes, I hope people enjoyed seeing my FF #51 homage cover.

I know I did! It isn't often that you see Lee Weeks doing a Fantastic Four cover
Thanks to WestPhillyPunisher for doing the tally. I was too tired to stay up and forgot. :o
