The redunkulous irony that Adderall sniffles Trump and his cocaine addled son are accusing Biden of taking drugs.

The funny thing about Trump accusing of Biden abusing drugs is that the interview is with Jeanine "Chardonnay" Pirro! I know Trump says he doesn't drink, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jeanine had a few glasses of the ol' vino.

Democratic and Republican Parties are two sides of the same coin. Sure, they have different ideologies but their methods for attacking their opponents and winning support are similar. They even used dirty tricks. Democrats and Republicans have been at each other's throats viciously. The partisan strife is tearing the country apart as it did during James Monroe's era.
President James Monroe strove to circumvent party interests in an attempt to put an end to the partisan conflict that nearly divided the country. He overlooked party lines in making political appointments. President James Monroe knew the partisan dispute was harming the country so he strove to downplay partisan affiliation with the ultimate goal of national unity and eliminating political parties altogether from national politics

If both parties need a president to unite the country instead of dividing it, they need a Monroe, not a Lincoln.

They ain’t two sides of the same coin now; fascism and would-be-dictatorship vs an alliance of centrism, liberalism, and progressivism that actually respect the rule of law and pursue actual justice cannot be equated without a healthy dose of bullshit.
And if the moment calls for a Lincoln because others have broken the law, broken faith, and pursued ruinous personal goals at the expense of their fellow citizens... then it’s time for Lincoln.
Monroe was on his context after a war with an external power, as the last of the founding father presidents. Lincoln was a man coming to the stage when a deeply partisan divide with a clear morally righteous concensus on one side and a clearly morally bankrupt and myopic minority on the other demanded firm leadership and a willingness to make the right stand.
We need at least soemthing like a Lincoln; Biden might not be up to it himself, but we can’t let a dumber, equally hypocritical counterpart to Davis continue his reign of injustice. And the GOP is going to need to be Reconstructed after this is over - people must be held to account even if it takes decades, and certain groups will have to be forced to change to be purged from political power by ballot box impotence.

On a different note, I will have to vote in person this year despite my state trying to make it easy to vote by mail. Apparently, in Nevada they aren't sending out all the absentee ballots at once, but each county gets them on different dates. Clark County (the most populous county in the state, which includes the Greater Las Vegas area) isn't getting anything until mid-October. I don't trust Dejoy's postal service to process anything in that short amount of time. Meanwhile, the least populated counties in Nevada are going to start getting ballots sometime next week...

Among Rep. Cramer’s finer quotes are insisting climate change is trending in the opposite direction and that CO2 emissions have nothing to do with any warming phenomenon (he was the adviser of the Trump campaign’s energy policies, go figure), as well as the time he talked about how Native American tribal elders and said he’d like to “wring the necks and slam their heads against the wall” for being upset about his vote against the version of the Violence Against Women Act that would have provided protections to Native American women. Rounding out this classy individual’s resume, he denies LGBTQ discrimination in the workplace even EXISTS, and insisted he was keeping his paycheck during the 2013 Government Shutdown because “he earned it” while also trying to throw people off of food stamps based on quotes he read of Christian scripture on the floor of the House (because Jesus was TOTALLY against feeding the poor.) Our last update also indicated that Cramer had been widely criticized during his first run for office for filming campaign advertisements in a veterans’ cemetery as well as the North Dakota Patriot Guard in one of their motorcycle rallies, and had jeopardized the funding for both, by making them involved in a political campaign without their permission. Cramer did not apologize to either group, justified it by saying “there was nothing illegal about it” and in interviews, refused to even say if he would continue to film ads in veterans’ cemeteries without permission.
Now, in 2016, Cramer won re-election by a large margin, earning 69% of the vote, but that was against Chase Iron Eyes, who had events from his past like nude photos of himself and a report that over a decade prior, he stole a car (his explanation for the latter was that he was “blankout drunk”). So… yeah, a candidate to get passionate about, but he came with a couple flaws, to say the least.
After Rep. Cramer’s re-election, he remains a thorough ***hole. In March of 2017, after several Democratic Congresswomen dressed for an address by Donald Trump to Congress by wearing white pantsuits, which was a nod to the Suffragette movement that got women the right to vote about a century ago. But that nuance is missed by Kevin Cramer, who responded to it by saying that these women had a “disease”, insulting how they looked, and were obsessed with Hillary Clinton’s election loss:
“But by the way, did you notice how poorly several of them were dressed as well?” he asked. “It is a syndrome. There is no question, there is a disease associated with the notion that a bunch of women would wear bad-looking white pantsuits in solidarity with Hillary Clinton to celebrate her loss. You cannot get that weird.”
Now, things can get even more embarrassing than that. In April of 2017, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer gave a bizarre statement at the podium, where he tried comparing Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad to Adolf Hitler by assessing “even Hitler never gassed his own people”. (News flash: He totally ordered that done in concentration camps.) Now, nobody in their right mind would, or could defend those remarks. But Kevin Cramer, you see, it not in his right mind, as he exhibited in an interview with a North Dakota conservative talk radio host, saying that Spicer’s Holocaust denial “had some validity”.
"The media is so gullible, they fall for these things because they think it's really hot stuff and the public just can't wait to stick it to Sean Spicer -- who 99% of the people wouldn't have the foggiest idea who he is and it distracts them from other things. I can't even believe that anybody in the media, much less all of the major networks, led with this story. A spokesperson, who by the way made a poor illustration, but it's not completely, it's not without some validity."
A few weeks later in May of 2017, House Republicans were floating the AHCA as a method of repealing the Affordable Care Act, that would throw 24 million people off their health insurance, cause tens of thousands of more deaths a year, and all for the “benefit” of getting the richest Americans tax breaks. And Kevin Cramer faced down a hostile town hall as this vote approached and was directly asked about that tax break for the wealthy, and lied in the faces of the people he represents, denying that it existed. The man asking Rep. Cramer the question responded by angrily stuffing a handful of money down his collar, a direct way of accusing that Cramer can be bought so easily.
Kevin Cramer wasn’t content to remain in the House to represent North Dakota, where in 2012, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp pulled what was considered a big upset. Kramer funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars back towards himself in the 2018 defense of Heitkamp’s seat, leaving him under investigation by the FEC. and managed to unseat her with 55% of the vote.
He has immediately taken to voting for every judicial nominee and Trump administration nominee for every post, no matter how unqualified they might be. Cramer also furthered our belief that he’s a piece of garbage when he responded to Donald Trump’s racist attacks upon Elijah Cummings and the city of Baltimore by claiming that it wasn’t that bad because sometimes he gets “snide” comments because he’s from North Dakota, therefore he believed “he could be a victim of racism”.
While we would just have to update that in the past year, Sen. Cramer was a son of a b**** again because he voted against witnesses in Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, effectively making it a “trial” and voting against convicting Trump in spite of all the evidence he tried soliciting foreign aid from Ukraine in the 2020 election by withholding aid to him… but somehow that wasn’t his s***iest moment of the year. Hands down, it would have to be when on March 24th, 2020, when he responded to a video interview of Nancy Pelosi calling for an economic stimulus package to be created due to Covid-19 and he responded with the deep counter-opinion of “She’s retarded”. He of course, refused to apologize, saying that he meant to type “she’s ridiculous” and what went out was a typo that he blamed on “fat fingers”.
We can’t reiterate enough, Kevin Cramer is an unflinching ***hole. It’s just that simple.
Governor Kim Reynolds directed that nearly $450,000 in federal funding the state of Iowa received through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act be used to cover salaries and benefits for staff working in her office.
According to documents Bleeding Heartland obtained from the Iowa Department of Management through public records requests, the funds will cover more than 60 percent of the compensation for 21 employees from March 14 through June 30, 2020.
Reynolds has not disclosed that she allocated funds for that purpose, and reports produced by the nonpartisan Legislative Services Agency have not mentioned any CARES Act funding received by the governor’s office. Nor do any such disbursements appear on a database showing thousands of state government expenditures under the CARES Act.
The governor’s communications director Pat Garrett did not respond to four requests for comment over a two-week period.
As psychologist John Gartner cautioned in a recent conversation here at Salon: "Donald Trump is the most successful bio-terrorist in human history. This is not an accident."

Ultimately, Trump's sabotage and willful negligence — to which he has now effectively confessed — is a crime against humanity. At worst, it approaches de facto genocide; at best, it could be called negligent homicide on a mass scale.
On Twitter, former CIA Director John Brennan described Donald Trump as a human "abomination," writing, "If he had a conscience or a soul, he would resign. Tragically for us, he has neither."
The American people should know by now that Donald Trump does not care about their safety, health or well-being. Yet again, Donald Trump has betrayed his presidential oath of office. From his coronavirus pandemic to a democracy under siege from his authoritarian movement, a failed economy, an increase in right-wing violence and terrorism, and a public embrace of white supremacy, Trump and his regime are emotionally and physically abusing the American people.

Dr. Seth Norrholm is a translational neuroscientist and one of the world's leading experts on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and fear. He is currently the scientific director at the Neuroscience Center for Anxiety, Stress, and Trauma (NeuroCAST) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.
In this conversation, Dr. Norrholm explains how Donald Trump's behavior towards the American people resembles that of a domestic abuser. He also details how Donald Trump and his regime are causing the American people to experience symptoms and behaviors similar to PTSD — and that post-Trump PTSD will impact the country's public health for many years into the future. Norrholm also offers advice on how the American people can handle the increase in stress and anxiety as Election Day 2020 approaches in the midst of a deadly pandemic and Trump's escalating threats and violence.

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/08/25/hillary-clinton-joe-biden-election-advice-401641
A few months ago, the Transition Integrity Project, a bipartisan group of political operatives, former government and military officials, and academics gamed out various scenarios to determine what options parties had under different scenarios. If Trump won the electoral college and lost the popular vote, Democrats were willing to demand approval to split California into multiple states in exchange to agreeing to the results of an election with clearly articulated standards.
