since everyone is talking about the Injustice movie (ugh) I'll do this.
The Joker nukes Lois and her baby, disintegrating them. Superman goes Dark and takes over the world.
Loki somehow finds his way to earth Prime and tells Superman about the Infinity Gauntlet is the only power capable of bringing them back to life (it's not but just go with it). All Superman has to do is conquer the Marvel Universe.
Yada Yada Yada a few hidden plotlines and you've got a stellar event which will probably have a terrible ending

My pitch (and a few others) has nothing to do with "Injustice". I can't stand that story so please don't state "everyone" when that is obviously not true.

Too true. I really don't understand the "Superman as a villain" fetish. He didn't act this way in "Kingdom Come", "Ending Battle" or "Till Death Do Us Part"; each time Lois either died or seemingly died.
