MacFarlane can do longer episodes, dont have to worry about cutting content, maybe even get some sharper humor in there
Streaming is the preferred platform, in case people missed it, streaming shows CLEANED UP at the Emmys this year
All shows, or just the netflixs ones? Because I haven't heard anything about Runaways or Cloak and Dagger
Those are just about the only 2 that have yet to meet the ax.
'Runaways' is getting a shortened season.
Whereas, as recently as today, Cloak and Dagger's fate remains undetermined.
The Gifted has been cancelled.
So, it's looking really slim for 'Cloak and Dagger'.

I dont get why Afton Williamson isn't coming back - articles say the parting was "amicable", which typically means the opposite
TV needs more non sexualized black women in lead roles

I don't understand it either. The article pointed out how the material she was given was pretty good so I don't know what else could be the problem.
Nancy Drew ordered to series by the CW
People can say what they will about CW, but I think they have found something that works. All of these series that they are taking off the page and putting on screen are all popular series that will surely get people to at least check them out because of sheer curiosity. In my opinion, the CW is my favorite current network.
This is the first I am hearing about a Nancy Drew series by the way.

I was kind of surprised to see that Too Old To Die Young was also listed in the set of cancellations.
For some reason, TOTDY was solidly a "Standalone" and not an "Ongoing" in my mind.
