I love Pixar but this looks terrible.
I feel the same way about this film as I did with the Good Dinosaur, have zero desire to see it but Pixar does put out good quality films. I eventually saw the Good Dinosaur at home with younger relatives and thought it was good so this film may be similar where it doesn't look that interesting from the trailers but is actually a good quality film. Hard to ever count Pixar out, they don't put out many bad movies.
Nothing about this really grabs me, if it gets good reviews I might think about it.

Same here, this does nothing for me. Way more interested in Soul.
This looks like a recycled Dreamworks script

Yeah, that's one that looked amazing:

Soul looks interesting but I still don't have any idea what the movie is about.

Looks like “guy falls down manhole, dies, and learns ‘life lessons’”. But I’ve been wrong numerous times.
Exit: saw Onward today. Was pretty good. Not as emotional as Inside Out or Up, but it was a fun little movie with a “point to make”.
[spoil]And the story of Barley’s 4th memory of their dad really hit home, as I neglected to visit my grandmother before her passing because seeing her in pain on a hospital bed hooked up to so many machines was hard to handle. I definitely teared up.[/spoil]
I saw it last week. It's pretty much mid-tier Pixar. It's a solid little movie with at least some of that Pixar magic present but it's not the emotional powerhouse of their best films.
One thing that I am getting tired of when it comes to Pixar, though, is that virtually all their movies have basically the same "journey to get back home" plot. The best ones transcend this trope but even then, I'm really starting to wish they would do something different. Taking a page out of the already much more varied Laika playbook would not be a bad idea at this point.
