Dads was actually kind of funny. But it seemed like Fox didn't have a clue how to market it.

Also Almost Human was cancelled.
The Flash and I Zombie got picked up for the fall Schedual and Beauty and the Beast was renewed. The Tomorrow People, Star Crossed and the Carries Diaries got cancelled. And Super Natural: Bloodlines was not picked up.
no surprise there for the CW....except I thought the Supernatural spinoff was a sure bet
honestly should take some of SNs secondary characters and spin them off...that would get picked up
Also for the CW: Renewed - Hart of Dixie, The 100.

Yay I love the Hart Of Dixie. It's like Gilmore Girls meets House.
Constantine picked up to series at NBC

DC/WB has gotten all 4 of their pilots picked up
IZombie
The Flash
Gotham
Constantine
Crisis and Believe have both been cancelled and pulled from the final week of sweeps. I really liked Crisis. I gave up on Believe. Hopefully resurrection comes back.
Any news on Tomorrow People?

Agreed. I didn't like the Twilightish characters. But a Ghostfacers spin-off... That would be awesome.

Surviving Jack was really funny and well done. Great cast and much better done throwback series than The Goldberg's over on ABC.
Crisis was interesting but really seemed like an idea that only worked for a limited number of episodes. I hope they play it out to the end in some way.

They've been pulled but technically the cancellation has not been made official yet.
How I Met Your Dad has been ordered to series.
Deathstroke ACN lists them as cancelled.

That really bites. And it ended on a cliffhanger too, perfect for the start of another season.

Not really much of a cliffhanger tbh. Jeremiah isn't much of a threat , not with just one brainwashed operator.
The founder got vanquished , the tomorrow people got a spanking new high class hideout and steven got a upgrade on his powers with the ability to turn back time. It's like a redo everything anything goes wrong.

Sorry , Jedikiah. Watching too much survivor. ;)
Tv is such a disappointment these days, sometimes I wonder why I bother watching series before they're finished.
The 100 gets renewed but The Tomorrow People isn't?
The 100 still has plenty of potential and story scope to develop and explore as a series. The tomorrow people ? Not really so much. It has become like the 4400 , a big group of homo superiors fighting against the normal humankind.
The 100 is a terrible series so far. it's completely unbelievable. I did a huge eyeroll when I heard the premise of the story.
The writers don't seem to have any knowledge of science facts. you know .. nuclear radiation, the effects of a long term stay in space, the repercussions of an extremely tiny population group interbreeding, the impossibility of 2400 people surviving in space for 97 years without any resupplies.
So far there isn't a single character that I care about surviving either.
a big group of homo superiors fighting against the normal humankind.
this sounds a lot better than "a bunch of whiney kids are sent to a radiation-saturated planet to fight among themselves while not dying of radiation poisoning or any number of disabilities caused by being born in space".
ABC has canceled Trophy Wife and Mixology.
The network renewed:
Once Upon a Time, Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Revenge, Castle, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Modern Family, The Middle, The Goldbergs and Resurrection. (Three shows that I watch there).
As for new series pickups you can read that info (including a new show starring Karen Gillan of Doctor Who and a new Marvel show) HERE!

I'm not surprised. Bigger is better than subtlety to most folks these days. Garlin's over the top screaming is much easier to digest than Chris Meloni making you have to think to laugh.
NBC has officially cancelled Community. The shows producers have the authority to ship it other net works. Hopefully either tbs, netflix or hulu will pick it up for one last season and a movie. But if they do I want Donald Glover back.
NBC also canceled Revolution, Growing Up Fisher, Believe and Crisis. They renewed About a Boy and Hannibal.
NBC also canceled Revolution, Growing Up Fisher, Believe and Crisis. They renewed About a Boy and Hannibal.
Dammit I liked Growing Up Fisher. Glad they are at least giving About A Boy a chance. Sad about Crisis. It and Believe were mentioned earlier though.
I think Community has gotten a longer life than it really should have, but I wouldn't be surprised if TBS picks it up
and Donald Glover is not coming back full time if he does
Among the Shows picked up by CBS are How I Met Your Dad, N.C.I.S. New Orleans amd The Odd Couple staring Matthew Perry.
Other ABC shows canceled: Neighbors, Super Fun Night and Suburgatory.
Other ABC shows canceled: Neighbors, Super Fun Night and Suburgatory.
I won't miss any of them. Suburgatory was never really that good and then they got rid of Alan Tudyk.

Crap, I liked that one.

The last article I saw on TVGuide.com said HIMYD's future was still up in the air.
The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore will replace the Colbert Report when Steven leaves to replace David Letterman at the end of the year.
CBS has renewed The Mentalist, but canceled The Crazy Ones, Intelligence, Bad Teacher, Friends with Better Lives and Hostages.
This marks the first cancellation notice that I'm bummed about so far. Because I thought The Crazy Ones was just damn hilarious. I tried Intelligence, didn't like it. One episode of FWBL was enough and the other two I couldn't care less about.
But I have to say that I am totally stunned by the renewal of The Mentalist. Especially since the showrunner Bruno Heller is leaving to go to Gotham and there really isn't anything else to do with the characters anymore.
I really liked friends with better lives. But there was a storyline from a few weeks back that seemed really dated. For the live of me I don't remember what it was though. Between this, Mixology, Welcome to the family and Community I am super bummed.
TBS has renewed Cougar Town for a Sixth and Final season. Three seasons on ABC three on TBS. It would be nice if TBS would pick up Community for it's 6th and Final season. It and Cougar town have always been very supportive of each other with Abed guest starring on Cougar Town and Travis and Laurie guest starring on Community.

I couldn't disagree more. Freed from the yoke of the Red John plot (which had been getting stale for a while now) there's plenty to do with the characters, particularly Jane. He's spent the better part of the last decade of his life in obsessive pursuit of a single goal, most likely believing that he would die in fulfillment of it. But now that the goal has been achieved and he has the rest of his life ahead of him . . . now what? He has to actually start looking down the road like a normal person, something he's never really given much thought to. I think that's pretty fertile ground for character exploration and growth.
