August Sales Figures
August sales figures have been posted on Comichron. Due to the absurd amount of mini and limited series going on right now I figured I'd divide them into two categories.

Looks like Absolute Carnage is an unqualified success, sales-wise. Good on Marvel for that.
Probably need at least one more month (probably two) to figure out Black Cat's level. If it's anywhere in the range of those sales, that'll be great (and a bit surprising). I would guess she'll level out more in the high 20K/low 30K range, but I'm not reading the book so that's a guess about character and not about the actual book's quality.
Certainly not bad numbers for ASM given that the book is in a bit of a post-Hunted lull (marketing, not story), but it sure seems like they shed a chunk of readers after Hunted. I imagine Spidey will get himself involved in an event or two in the near future and it'll get the book back up

Thoughts:
- Man, anything Symbiote related really prints money, huh? I wonder what that says about people or more what it says about fans.
- Black Cat holding high numbers, but I guess we'll soon find out where it stabilizes without all the variants. But I guess we can still say at this point that Felicia is a strong seller :).
- I wonder how sharp the drop after Ghost Spider #1 will be.
- Miles still at 30K on his ninth issue is pretty impressive .
- FNSM still has solid sales. I don't see much reason to end it yet unless the plan is to relaunch something new.
- Symbiote Spider-Man and City at War sold better then I expected for mini's. It seems like there might be a good market for PS4 Spider-Man stories in the comics, or maybe even more Peter David Spider-Man.

Correction on numbers. ASM #29 should be #27. Issue 29 come out last week, not in August.

Went back in a fixed that.

Through all the relaunches, there's definitely been some diminishing returns on Gwen's book.

I also don't remember her sales from the end of the Latour run being that hot (although maybe it picked up a little).
Really curious to see how the Mary Jane mini will do...
