"Oh you little sunvabi- GYAWOOOCH!" Anubis bellowed when the little demon screeched like a banshee. But the confusion that followed swiftly after was even more bothersome.
Because like ... did it even have lungs ?!
In any event, when Durive started steering Anubis toward the wall, the Hound complied ... slipping through the wall seamlessly while Durive was, hopefully, left on the other side; and after passing through completely the hound turned to see if the little beast had been successfully dismounted.
He saw....nothing in front of him. Seemed safe for now. However..there was a familiar tapping sound behind him. Like a pair of sticks clacking against a polished floor. Very worrisome. What was far more worrisome was the fact that should Anubis turn around, he would discover that Durive had somehow managed to acquire a baseball bat. How he was holding onto it at all was anyone's guess.

" Well, I know enough about the Doctor now to formulate a method. I believe the key to defeating him is through these Ghetti-Adam nanites. That has been keeping him alive," Praxat said.
" For any complex method, I could come up with there's a high chance the Doctor has a countermeasure. So my solution is simple and straightforward. We just hit the Doctor with more energy than his nanites can handle," Praxat said.
" In other words, we just hit him really, really hard. Oh, I'm still in the middle of analyzing the space ship. Once the analyzation is done. I will know all I need about the ship to form proper maintenance on it if need be," Praxat said.

" Yeah but what else can we do? You said it yourself anything tech or clever wise The Doctor has prepared for. So our only option is the simplest one. No tech, or anything clever, just simple brute force!" Praxat said.

"The first step to understanding your circumstances is to inform your conclusion with your observations, rather than seeking observations to validate your conclusion. How often must I tell you this?"
Ochazuke, still seated in meditation, remained nonetheless quite aware of all that stirred within his extended field of sense-awareness. Through his subtle sense, he felt everything from the presences aboard to the cold tachyon rush outside. Of his mundane senses... beneath his headband, by his temple, a vein stood out prominently.
"All that time you've spent in Capsule Corp, and it's clear you've never once interacted with Adam," he said dryly. "The rest of us have fought beside the android, and we know its capabilities well. Its nanite matrix is designed around the absorption of energy."
With a sharp sigh he continued. "Let me make it easier for you: What do you think the transfer of brute force is?"
"Your conclusion, passionate as it may be, is neither scientifically nor strategically sound, Praxat." Here, his tone lightened slightly, for truth be told, this was a problem they all must face together. "You went to the world The Doctor came from. Observed how he sustained himself for fifteen years using the Ghetti Star components and a portion of Adam. The miniscule conversion of sunlight and ambient energy of a dead world allowed him to survive without food. Consider what he might be able to do if he had more than that to use as a weapon...or what you might do to deprive him of it."

I specialize in thermodynamics. I know damn well what the transfer of brute force is! Before a creature does an action. It stores what is called potential energy," Praxat said.
" Which is the stored energy that depends upon the relative position of various parts of a system. It comes in many forms. When a force acts on an object or creature with potential energy. It is transformed into a new type of energy," Praxat said.
" When a person throws a punch or does any kind of movement. This energy is transformed into kinetic energy. So the transfer of brute force aka physical force is kinetic energy," Praxat said.
What I would do if it's possible is to put The Doctor in a place where there is no energy. A place where particles are completely stationary. If particles are completely stationary. There would be zero energy!" Praxat said.
" This would deprive The Doctor of more energy since they wouldn't be any energy to absorb in the first place. Now since the nanites feed on energy. This means we can't use physical attacks against him. Since physical attacks release kinetic energy," Praxat said.
As for depriving him of the energy he currently has. I have a sure-fire method of how that can be accomplished.

" Praxat thoroughly thinks about her observations. " Dash, It could be possible nanites can be controlled by something outside of the Doctor, but it is could be possible nanite matrix can be removed. Doing so would require test my theory of there being a micro dimension. A dimension that exists at the subatomic level," Praxat said.
" I won't be comforting the Doctor personally, because unlike you Dash I'm not warm-blooded. My body doesn't regulate body temperature like your body does. To regulate my body temperature. My body uses a combination of evaporative cooling, skin color changing, and solar energy absorption," Praxat said.
" Absorbing and storing solar energy is essential for my body to regulate its temperature. If it is too cold and I don't have enough store solar energy to regulate my body heat. I will go into a state of hibernation!" Praxat said.
" Since my body constantly needs solar energy to regulate its body temperature. I would basically be a smorgasbord for those nanites. I can't have those nanites absorbing the store solar energy in my body," Praxat said.

Parsley knew nothing of science, but did know that observation was a part of the scientific method. Of course, Praxat often forgot that, amazingly.
"And what is this sure fire method you plan on employing?" she inquired. "So the rest of us can be prepared to perform our roles adequately."

Ochazuke remained in the focused stillness of meditation, mindful of everything from the rolling expanse of time-space outside, to nigh-all that transpired within the Coldlight's faculties. He would be remiss to not notice Praxat's realization.
"Now, think about what you have just proposed in the context of what I have told you about Adam," he replied. "What will introducing kinetic energy into a system that absorbs it accomplish?"
A slow exhale left him. "There is nothing more shameful to those who define themselves by some label of expertise than admitting ignorance. But in these times, building your premise from a faulty assumption only multiplies the fault in understanding. As we move to face the Doctor, there is no margin for error. If you don't know something, it falls to you to ask about it, specialist or not."
Ochazuke reared back, a stiff inhale filling his lungs.
"All of Time and the Universe that rests upon it depends on the battle to come. Not just the Earth, but Vocado, Chroma, Acoria, and even Quaceria depends on our collective efforts. Despite all that happens today, we have no choice but to fight now at this moment to ensure there is a tomorrow to return to."

"Then prove this is not a scheme of wonder and theory, but something you can do," he said, "you might have only scant hours to implement it."

"Who gives a **** on what the dude can do?" Charco grumbled from his seat, "************ can also get his ass beat, which is what we're fixing to do."
Although necessary considering the message he had sent all of his contacts, the boy regretted destroying his communicator at the moment. He could have distracted himself with his music, but now the only sounds he had were people trying to formulate plans with technical garbage speak.
"Hey, guys!" He suddenly said, his voice mockingly cheerful and dripping with sarcasm, "Did you know that Jagam can shift his vital organs?" The aural facade dropped and he resumed his previous tone, "He can't anymore because he's fucking dead. Which is what might happen to us if we focus on useless bullshit."
