Wow.
That's a lot of stunt casting.
Seth Rogen and Jack Black are competent voice actors though. IDK what Chris Pratt is doing there.

Wait, can Chris pratt even pull off a Brooklyn italian brooklyn accent?

I'll also add, I don't think I've ever seen so many memes made so quickly in a long time.
The internet is having a really fun evening with this casting news.
Also. A trailer for Bayonetta 3 AT LAST!
(Though her original VA is apparently not returning which is a shame)
So, they get Kevin Michael Richardson and they don't cast him as Bowser, talk about a missing opportunity.

A lot of people on Twitter are also expecting Chris Pratt to fall flat as far as doing an Italian accent. Then again, he might surprise everyone.
Here is some interesting trivia. The last nae Pratt apparently comes from Anglo-Saxon meaning Trickster or Joker. Seems to fit him pretty well.
well, latest What If episode was a definite tonal shift from the last three, it was also pretty good and fun(and Captain Marvel Thor fight was pretty well done), really pleasantly surprised with where the series has gone after being underwhelmed by the first two episodes
Jack Black is great but I still think his and Kevin Michael Richardson's voice roles should be flip.

...those are some terrible choices. I can kind of get Rogen as Donkey Kong, reminds me a bit of the 90s/00s CGI animated cartoon, but Jack Black as Bowser seems weird, and Chris Pratt as Mario is just wtf.
Star Wars Visions is pretty fun

I'm mainly wondering if Chris Pratt will make an attempt at a italian or Brooklyn accent.
Oh, or maybe an italian Brooklyn accent.

Well it's not like they could get the Captain. He's been dead for a while now.

On this topic, I have seen some theory crafting going on about Bayo's voice actress.
B3 Bayo's hairstyle is very directly evocative of the hairstyle Cereza [child version of Bayonetta brought through time]. The enemies in the new game are not angels, they're not Aesir, they aren't demons and they don't seem to be Lumen Sages either so it suggests that this a new conflict previously unmentioned in the previous two games.
Additionally, both Bayonettas 1 and 2 featured time travel so parallel timelines aren't off the table.
So, current theory is that the protagonist of B3 could be the now adult version of child Bayonetta [Cereza] who was sent back in time by B1 Bayonetta but her continuity diverged at some point from the previous games which puts us in a separate timeline. Which leaves the door open for Hellena Taylor to be in the game as original timeline Bayo.
Now, writing that all out, I can see that the community is really grasping at straws. Taylor has strongly hinted that she's not able to do it any more and made allusions to an NDA preventing her from talking about it but... given that every other appearance of Bayo has been her and she's still working and clearly interested in the character, it's odd she's not on the project.
Money issues maybe? I don't know.
Well, you know a Mario movie couldn't possibly sell itself, especially not to children, if you didn't slap popular celebrity names on the poster.
I mean, just think of all the money they could have saved on celebrity budgets while still giving professional voice actors a Big Movie Budget payout. That would just be criminal.
Personally, I hope they do the thing where they design the CG models to look like the celebs. That'd be the chef's kiss.
Anyway, I don't actually care that much, but it does annoy me a bit. I am mildly curious about the plot now, though, given they're including the Kongs in there (and Kranky to boot).
