[QUOTE] Yes, you've made it abundantly clear you DGAF as long as your favorite book comes out immediately.

I don't like digital any more than you. But, for some publishers, it might be a necessity to keep readers, even at cost to stores.
Of course, I suspect many of the people screaming loudest for digital are just impatient. But, it might be a distasteful necessity.

I'm shallow/selfish enough to admit I'm just impatient and bored as hell when not at work and want to read my comic book fix. *shrugs* is what it is the way I see it comic shops are just fucked for the foreseeable future doesn't mean we have to be.

I do not want to seem glib in the face of this pandemic, but I wonder if this crisis will just hasten trends that were in the works. I wonder how long the direct market could have survived with the move to online, where we are seeing more brick and mortar stores are going under. Look at Gamestop, their stores were closing even before the pandemic, due to people buying games online. I wonder how long the direct market would have lasted even before this crisis.
Also, I think DC and Marvel had problems before this crisis, being outsold by Manga and original YA graphic novels.
