Rusty & Skids should be teaching the Children of the Atom. Perfect roles for both of them. Give Rusty a new name though.

Bring him on board, and drop Mondo, Chamber, and Glob. I really wish Brisson could co-write this with Rosenberg.

We need much better writers other than Brisson and Rosenberg.
We need someone who can bring character development into most of the New Mutants.
1. Cannonball was the favorite member of almost all New Mutant writers.
2. Sunspot's favorite writer is Hickman.
3. Wolfsbane was the favorite member of Peter David with the birth of her son storyline in X-Factor, that was interesting until they decided to kill her son.
4. Dani was a favorite member of Claremont during his Valkryie storyline.
5. The others like Karma, Cypher, Magma, Boom-Boom, Skids didn't get much spotlight.
Cypher is getting a bit of spotlight from Hickman but it is still not enough.
Yeahh no offense but I loathed the way Rosenberg wrote Karma and Mirage; not to mention the bang up job he did with Wolfsbane. I’d rather we either get a fresh take or a beloved classic writer with a new spin.
I actually love Rosenberg’s writing. Not my favorite modern NM writer, (that honor belongs to Zeb Wells), but I’m over the monotonous school uniforms. Also ugh on that leg. You have omega level healers. Regrow her leg already. Ffs.

Zeb Wells accomplished what most writers don’t even attempt: he wrote a compelling and badass Doug Ramsey that was not dependent on symbiosis with Warlock.

Yes. Or, at the very least, stop cutting off one pants leg on every pair of pants you own, so the artist can show it off. (A trend that Forge started, that can go away with him.)

Bringing on Rosenberg isnt going to change the costumes

Please no to Rosenberg ever returning to an X-Book but I'm not sure why they want to keep Karma and Hellion maimed. I guess for the visual of the robotic limbs? Disability representation? I guess Forge, Cyclops, and Xavier aren't enough.
I like Karma’s robot leg. Guess I’m the only one.
I wouldn’t mind it they leaned into it a la Clay Mann’s Age of X design for her.

Finally? They did that in Nicieza's X-force as well as the Road Trip era under Moore

I loved X-Force esp their interactions with the MLF. It'd be cool if more Hellions had survived for them to be rivals of XForce but in a more subtle and duplicitous way
