As a casual DC fan (mostly just read the Flash, JL, YJ, and any mini's that start off strong), this feels a bit like...too little, too late?
Some things about the time line seem also very odd. Like:
. . . Jason becoming Robin a Year after Dick became Nightwing (and after COIE), and dying directly in the same year . . .
In pre-CoIE continuity, Dick was still Robin when Jason's parents were killed while they were helping Robin to try and put away Killer Croc.
The post-CoIE continuity eliminated any direct connection between Dick causing the events resulting in Jason eventually becoming Robin II.

Don't forget: Jason was blond and a member of the Flying Todds...a circus act! Killer Croc murdered Jason's parents.
I miss those simpler times.

When he was given a new origin post-CoIE, he now had dark hair.

But I believe it was when Jason was resurrected in 2005, they also went back to his dark hair color being a dye-job to match Dick's as Robin.

In Under the Red Hood, Lost Days, he is clearly shown to have natural black hair. And there is not a single panel were you ever see Jason having red hair as a street kid.
Pre-Crisis he was a natural blonde that dyed his hair black
Post Crisis he had natural dark hair
In 2009 he dyed his hair red with a white streak for unknown reasons
In 2012 his hair was made naturally black again
Yeah, never liked the "dye-job" bit. Or him randomly having red hair pre-Flashpoint for awhile.
Pre-Crisis he was a natural blonde that dyed his hair black
Again, was it suppose to be blonde or red hair?

Looks pretty blonde to me.
I think it was Morrison that randomly tried to make him a red head near the end of Jason's pre-Flashpoint era.

Looks orange to me.
Shall we call it "strawberry blond"?
Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it.
I dunno, I have pre-Crisis Batman, Titans, Superman, Swamp Thing, JLA and Legion comics and there is definitely continuity in those.
The messes pre-COIE seem pretty tame compared to some of the nightmares that came after.
I agree, SP. I'll take pre-COIE continuity over DCU or New 52 continuity any day of the week. DC was easily at its most anal retentive about it during the Bronze Age.
That was pre-CoIE continuity. (And wasn't Jason actually a red-head for that?)

I'm with the Major. I always thought Jason was a redhead, too.
Is this like those internet memes about what color the dress is or what color the sneakers are? :)
