Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out.
That honestly doesn't bother me. It felt more like Thawne one-upping himself after killing Iris. Since she came back he found a new way to make Barry miserable and he succeeds until Barry met Iris in the new timeline Thawne created.
It's a relatively new change to the Barry Allen character. Most of us old farts who've been reading the character much longer than is healthy, find it a pretty awful ret-con that takes something away from the bloke who became a hero simply because it was the right thing to do, not because he was 'inspired' by tragedy.

I started reading him less than 4 years ago (started with the silver age), and I find it a awful recon that takes something away from him.
Was thinking on old characters earlier today - does anyone else think Melanie (Barry's obsessed fan/stalker from the bronze age) could have been a more interesting character/story that she/it turned out to be? May have worked better with Iris alive. Not for a long-term character, though, just one storyline.

Rogues is, after all, turned out to be a murder group in # 76. They broke the rule of not killing people unnecessarily. Now it is just a villain group.

You know what's weird? The chinstrap doesn't look good in the comics, but on the TV show, the suit looks weird without it.

To me I think it’s that they make the live action cowls too thick and like a helmet. If it were thinner, then it wouldn’t be a problem. Or at least if the connecting part had the same thickness. Shipp Flash has even material and it worked a lot better.
