It was runner up. So blame yourself for not voting as the extra #1 vote would have gotten it into the top 3....

Sometimes a picture says more than a thousand words is what they say. When it comes to art, many have different styles they like. What I might find great, you might dislike. Same can be said about th covers that were released. Some covers got lots of votes because the art was great, others because they captured an important moment in the books. As there were so many, there were lots who got votes, but these are the ones who stood out the most.
As art speaks for itself, there is nothing more I can add, then just post the results...

The secret packed oh so secret marriage cover :-
Very few people voted. I don't know why
so these result probably don't exactly show the real preferences of the people on this boards.
Voting is not the easiest process. Do you still have to vote for all the categories for your votes to count?
Illyana looked amazing in Dead Souls. She SHOULD look a little deranged.
Loved Gorham's Magik. Want more of Gorham's Magik!
Huh? Is anyone else getting this on page 3?

Yes. MoS mentioned in his thread that just one or two votes in a category wouldn't be counted. All three spots have to be filled. And given how many just voted for one thing in some areas, it's not surprising we have many who's favorites or least weren't counted.
Far as the covers go.
Can't say I agree with the Liefeld cover. lol If these are the Favorite Covers column.
The others are all nice.
Rogue x Gambit is a beautiful cover, even if I don't care about the pairing. It's hard to hate on beautiful art.
The Jean cover is ok, but doesn't really stand out for me.
Creed & Monet cover was great. Just too bad it was false advertising & attached to a HORRIBLE chapter. I really think this cover was done because it was Monet's turn to be on one. But Rahzzah could've done Sabretooth unraveling in the forefront, with the Weapon X-Force team watching in shock or confusion in the background. That would've been more appropriate, and less....dishonest -for lack of better word. lol
Surprised about the favorite mini results. PR was not well received on these boards when it was released, but I guess it was enough that it brought back Jean for some. Rogue and Gambit taking the top spot was also unexpected, not that it wasn't good, but besides getting the two back together, nothing really important happened.
Are those the best covers or the worst, I genuinely can't tell.

You didn't have to vote in every category.
You also didn't have to fill all three spots for each category, but if you didn't the votes were worth fewer points.
Adam Gorham drew the definitive post-Bachalo Magik.
Did CBR really roast Phoenix Ressurection that badly?

Every artist has a closet full of bad art. However, some seem to publish that bad art anyway end no one stopped them. Though bad art is a great deal worse than no art at all, right? Unfortunately we came across some examples of art we rather saw kept in the closet and these were picked by you as the worst ones of 2018.
As I said in the Favorite Covers part, art speaks for itself, there is nothing more I can add, then just posting the results... runner up was X-Men Red #1 by Rob Liefeld with 10 points

Uncanny X-Men #1 by Rob Liefeld
Now it may seem not many voted on both favorite and least favorite covers. Well. let me tell you on least favorites there were less, but that is because in most "Least Favorites"-categories quite a few people do not submit votes, as it had a negative tone to it.
Regarding the Favorite Covers, the were quite a few voters, but there were not a lot of covers many voted for. In total there were more than 60(!) covers that received votes. So many loved 3 covers, but little had the same covers in their nominations.
Now THAT makes more sense. lol I thought it'd be weird if that Liefeld cover was voted favorite. Whew.
But again, agree with the Horse-faced Mystique & Washed-Up Hulk Hogan Sabretooth for some of the worst.
