I really can't get into this. I'm happy for Cass and Steph fans. But it sucks they're on the verge of erasing Babs as Batgirl.

I mean Babs wasn't Batgirl until they rebooted her back into new 52. Which caused issues what to do with Cass and Steph. So I wonder if because that they just went back.

dont be so dramatic
Although it's confusing, Stephanie and Cassandra are the Batgirls, while Barbara is Batgirl/Oracle. Even writers have made that division.
I suspect Stephanie and Cassandra will have another code name too.
Spoiler and Orphan
They're called Batgirls because they were once erased from continuity, so now they reestablish that yes, the are all Batgirls, but this team and book is kinda like Robins where they were all Robins but now have their own identities
The situation is weirder than Robin because of that continuity thing

Lately, writers haven't been using Orphan.
However, they seem to use Cass quite a bit. Maybe that's her new independent code name.

"don't be so dramatic"
I'm not talking about preschool shows. I'm talking about comics
They should add Bette Kane. She was the first Bat-girl. I mean they force in Steph to be a Robin despite barely ever being in the costume, but they don't want to acknowledge Bette Kane's history the same way.

Can we bring her Spoiler mask back? I've never been sold on the ninja mask.

Batgirls Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown, who are only able to navigate the dark, gritty, and oftentimes scary Gotham City by leaning on each other’s friendship.
Mentored by Oracle, the Batgirls move to the other side of town where Barbara Gordon can keep a better eye on them while the hacker Seer is still invading their lives. Steph may be too rash sometimes, and Cass doesn’t speak much—but what they lack in similarities they make up for with their mutual respect and love for each other…and what makes them stronger together as Batgirls! This rebellious group of Super Heroes team up to kick ass, and try to make it as normal teenagers in this pizza slumber party of a series, packed with energy, attitude, and friendship.

Im not exactly enamored with the art style, I will still give it a good go. I can't say I had read anything of Clooney and Conrad's until Wonder Woman but they have done such a great job there I'm willing to give them a try on just about anything.
As long as they stop calling Cass Orphan, I'm in.
