Billy Cranston vs. Wesley Wyndam-Pryce

Billy Cranston vs. Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. Billy has to rely on only his martial arts skills, no morphing. And no weapons for Wesley. Who wins?

Which one? Classic Billy? 2017 Billy?

To be honest, neither of them have any native martial arts skills.

Even the Power Rangers comic (Boom Studios) addressed this by saying that the Ranger powers are such that "[I]even someone[/I]" like Billy (Cranston) became a lethal weapon when morphed.

Classic Billy had no martial arts skills prior to becoming a Ranger. All of his (best) combat feats were in Ranger form.

Wait--weren't his fights with the Putties morphed? Or did he fight some while unmorphed?

I stand corrected. I just did not remember any fight scenes from Billy.

Early on, it's true that Billy could barely fight off a putty. By the end though, he was just as skilled as the others (see the above clip) and without weapons, I definitely don't see Wesley being able to compete.

Wesley IS more skilled than 2017Billy, but 2017Billy also has super strength even when he isn't morphed.

Wesley without weapons can still chuck around fireballs, so there's that.

Well... maybe. He wasn't exactly doing that immediately (they took a good few seconds to build up, and weren't shown to travel any further than the length of a long table), and I don't think it's something he can just do without preparing, unless there was some other time where he used them outside the last episode. He doesn't seem like he can just pull it off any time he wants; Buffyverse magic SEEMS to require some basic amount of prep for mages who don't just have a truckload of raw power to throw around, like Willow.

Also those fireballs didn't really... do very much. I mean again, unless he used them some other time outside the last episode, literally the only feat we have for them is failing to damage a guy who had his skull caved in the instant Illyria decided he should be dead. They were powerful enough to throw him around, but that happens to the PRs unmorphed all the time.
