Singer being attached is not really news.

Singer being executive producer means nothing. He's also exec producing Legion. Stan Lee exec produces every Marvel movie. It's just contracts.

Singer needs to completely vacate the X-scene in all possible ways. This is a huge wet blanket having him on the project. No thanks.

I completely agree. Singer has **** all over the X-Men long enough. With him attached in any way, I've no faith in this. I believe that this will be nothing but trash. Such a shame.

Executive producers aren't normally the creative force at least.
Singer is directing the pilot
Go Away Singer!
Bryan Singer!!! Oh boy, I'm so excited! ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz.

In my defense that wasn't known when I mentioned that executive producers aren't normally the creative force behind things.
I'm less enthusiastic now. I'll still hope for the good Singer who gave us The Usual Suspects and not the bad one who turned the new X-Men's story into Xavier/Magneto Waangst Part 7. Call me...cautiously pessimistic. (not hopeful, but I'm aware he can do good stuff even if I'm not expecting it here)

Honestly, I need a LOT more information before I begin making a judgment. Y'know, like cast, setting, how it connects back to the MCU, etc.

I can't disagree there. Of course, the last X-Film had a great cast and it still dropped the ball by concentrating on what we have seen a half dozen times already - so even that info might not tell us if it's going to be any good in the end.

No worries. It was on Page One, and had 'Fox' and 'X-Men' and 'TV Show' in the subject line. I can see how it gets missed.

Seriously - just kidding. I just find it funny there is a Film-TV section, yet there are show and movie threads all over the place. No wonder why you would miss it.
This doesn't change anything. Matt Nix is the showrunner. Joss Whedon directed the first episode of AoS. Would anyone say he's involved with that.
Why just why?
He didn't pick the cast or do the writing.
And even if he did, you probably wouldn't know if they hadn't said.
Stop memeing.

Yessss.
See, this is how Fox should have done allll the X-Men things.
Competition for all those netflix series, so hopefully it will be decent.
Bryan Singer is definitely a boner-shrinker. I can more easily sacrifice quality X-Men comics to CompleX scenarios if mutant media moves in the direction of Deadpool and the promising first looks of Legion and Logan.
I bet nobody here even knows who the directors of their favourite shows are.
Because they are not relevant to the final product.
They lost any possible intrest from me at Singer involvement.
