There was an updated Disney Zorro show in the late 80s/early 90s, too, correct? He grooms a replacement and they moved the timeline forward a bit from the traditional Zorro eras.
Also, NBC has a new Zorro coming out with a female descendant taking over in a more modern setting. Is that still going on?
I looked today and they do have the 1960 Legend of Zorro movie.
they just have the movie but not the tv show
I watched Once Upon a Time and I do not ever recall Zorro. Then I did a google search. (and really, learn something new every day)
https://ouaat.fandom.com/wiki/Zorro
He was mentioned in name only. And probably only as Diego, never Zorro.
If we do a reboot of Zorro, can we also get Michael Peña in it?
This is the weirdest thing the show did. Its also the one I wish they explored more.
Zorro got with a supervillianess ;). He picked up one of Batman's staples.

LOL Zorro takes over thread!

Disney+ doesn't have the show? You'd think that would be easy to include.
I looked today and they do have the 1960 Legend of Zorro movie.
That would be Disney's The Sign of Zorro.

True^ Disney+ unfortunately does not carry episodes of the original Zorro Disney TV series. (like many, one of the first things I checked too, when I got Disney+ )
However in case it's not well known, the movie they do have - The Sign of Zorro - is a "movie" actually just edited from the first eight episodes from the original Disney Zorro TV series. - the Capitan Monastario story arc. So I guess they do kind of have the first eps.
There is also another movie - Zorro The Avenger - compiled from six episodes of the "The Eagle," story arc (although also not available) .

I don't even know what to make of that ^ sentence and information?: D
So did Zorro/Diego de La Vega (in some form of Dragon state?) "mate" with Maleficent, ....
Well, that explains (not at all) how Disney Zorro becomes a Dragon!! (I guess?) Thanks,LOL!
And then who is Zorro and Maleficent's kid? Is this part of the story?
Fun detail, before Romero played the infamously scarred Joker, against Batman
He played Zorro's scarred nemesis.

Also for a Disney character, zorro although he'd mostly just scar or humiliate his enemies, if pushed had no great compunction against killing.

LOL killing power stance ....

Yes, the kid is a part of the story. Set up as a nemesis for the main character for one season.

I'd like to see them finally get "The Black Cauldron" and its series of books right.

Loved The WB Adventures of Zorro, speaking of Zorro suposedly becoming a dragon?
The WB's Zorro did actually develop some of the more supernatural elements in the mythology.

Where the frog gets his head bashed in and comes back to haunt the Princess? That may be too morbid for Disney.

I am assuming they mean not set in New Orleans, semi-modern, etc.
Your classic princess kisses a frog story without the colorfulness of the Disney version.
I would personally not want to see that go. That is what made it unique.
