They DID join the Avengers, but only stayed for four issues.

Avengers 300 and Reed and Sue and the Nanny and the Orphan Maker. This was a great storyline.
I was impressed with another showing of Sue's power saving them, even though she was asleep.
Her powers have worked when she has been unconscious.
So is it me or does anyone else find Sky really annoying?
This character basically just forced herself into Johnny's life, nothing about her is interesting, she just brings unnecessary drama with her, I'm ready for her to go

Her and Dan Slott with her :D
Could not agree more. The addition of Skye to the FF narrative has done nothing for any of the characters. In fact, the introduction of Victorious and the return of Lyja should've been enough to keep the romantic entanglements of Johnny going forward. At this point, Skye is extraneous shouldd to be let go without any fanfare whatsoever.
Here's an interesting discussion about the FF that was released today:
There either is, or will be, something up woth Sky and this "soulmates" thing. It could be her or she's being used by her government to spy on the FF. The Reed/Sue link looks like it could be fake evidence to show that the devices work as advertised.
Oh, you mean like......Lyja? ;) Sorry, couldn't resist that one.

Pretty much, and I think Sharon Ventura had a similar role as well. The FF's security seems as bad as 24's CTU sometimes.

Yeah, Sharon was probably treated the worst. Simonson tried to at least get her out of the woeful She Thing status that Englehart gave her. But she was eventually mutated again by Doom's agents in DeFalco's run. IIRC the last time she was seen Ben encountered her in prison in the James Robinson run.

Sharon cameoed, in her human form, in an issue of Captain America Sam Wilson. She was wrestling.

Now that you mention it, I did see that posted somewhere here on the boards. But she had no dialogue. I was wondering if it was an imposter since we don't know how she got back to her human form. I hope that ends the She Thing curse for her.
-
I’d love to see Sharon join the GotG, to distance herself from the She-Thing as much as possible. Maybe go back to the Ms. Marvel moniker, or something like that.
-
To be honest, if she was no longer a Thing, then she needs a new name. Ms. Marvel's brand is very much Kamala Khan's now.

Whether she comes back, in any form, I would like to see
Her cosmic ray and other mutation or attempts at cures have done a similar but inverse 'effect' like
Ben Grimm.
She has crawled her way back to human or nearly human form. Maybe some minor augmentation in strength
but the inverse Thing thing is she may randomly turn back into She-Thing for short periods,
or she can nearly control that and use She-Thing as the extra trick in her arsenal.
If we want to go with cursed, but not so cursed, maybe her hands and forearms are stuck in Thing form, or more often.
Get freaky with it.

I wonder how long Slott is planning to be on this book. I can barely take another year of this and it would make it a 4 year run which is fitting.
There needs to be new blood and fast.

i think we're stuck here until the franklin plot is resolved at the very least. there's also the reckoning war thing but who knows when that will happen or if its even going to a part of this run or just set up here
-
I can see Reckoning War being a 2022 event, which concludes this run.

with how slow the run is in general i would even say 2023 or later

I hope Slott lasts through at least 2025 and brings back Sharon.
I also don’t buy books I don’t enjoy. That’s just daft.
