Lol. I thought backstage beatdown were always permitted. It happens like every other week for the last couple of decades.
Signing a group so they don't ruin your main events or attack your mom wrestling talent makes sense. I mean it's the WWE, where there are no hospitals just medical facilities.Where every cop looks like a detective off of NYPD Blue.
If you watch the early months of the NWO , the backstage beatings and more was just a band of outsiders showing up doing this. Yes in reality they would be arrested sure. Its like when Lance Storm comically questioned years ago during an angle ..."Where are police ?"
Wrestling has a realm of fake and reality woven in. I mean we have seen Steve Austin become CEO of WWF in angles to where the Outsiders ran the Steiner's off the road in a video. Its that realm of fake reality that is there.
In an invasion angle like were seeing done , you have to sell the OUTSIDE the company aspect. The Nexus guys coming from NXT started off with a damn bang. They gave a huge beat down to folks and everything seemed great. You had a leader detailing to follow the plan which if your a wrestling stable is "CAPTURE ALL TITLES" and run wild awhile.
But the WWE as we saw ruined Nexus by not letting Cena put over Wade Barrett and making the stable be truly threat. They did well with the Shield as we saw. Those guys did more than Nexus because they learned some lessons and all 3 men got over as we saw.
Retribution itself is a terrible stable and idea and the execution is showing its just not worth watching.

Late Night Dynamite was, a fun little show:
Scorpio Sky vs. Ben Carter was awesome, and the latter looked fantastic.
Anna Jay vs. Brandi was, pretty good. I like that they played it like a fight. I could have done without the DO interference, but the finish was the right call.
Sydal vs. Spears was solid as well.

In 2018, I got to meet Road Warrior Animal at the Rhode Island Comic Con. But I got to have an added experience to go along with that meeting.
Here's what I wrote in my recap article that appears on the Limelight Magazine.com website:
"That second day featured the other new experience. My friend Roger was at the show handling guest wrestler Road Warrior Animal. Back when I was about twelve and the Road Warriors were the dominant tag team in wrestling, I worshiped at the altar of Animal and Hawk. So being able to ride up with my friend and Animal for Sunday’s closing day of the convention was a fun little treat. It’s not that anything earth-shattering happened in the car ride or anything, but I got to have a chat with Animal in a setting where I wouldn’t be interrupted all that much. Believe me, the twelve-year-old wrestling fanatic inside of me was pretty excited the whole ride up."
This is the photo I took of him that accompanied the article:

Road Warriors was one of the greatest tag teams in history. I really said it then that Dark Side of the Ring should have spent 2 episodes on the great legacy of the tag team and more. There was a lot they sorta breezed over with how impactful the tag team was.
Whenever someone sees the tag team they really don't remember the classic 1980's Road Warriors entrance and music there. Crockett and company gave them this as their 80's entrance. Which was BIG then and sold them as the Earth shattering team that was coming to destroy.

The fans exploding at the very music detailed how EPIC this team was then. Destruction was about to be released. Pity teams who get in their way. RIP Animal. You and Hawk are coming to lay a path of destruction in the next place.
Retribution feeding with Keith Lee would a good feud. Dio Madden and Dijakovik are good matches for Lee. Honestly, there new names take away some great stories.
Mia Yum leaving Keith Lee for Dijakovic is a hot feud. Dio Madden wanting to destroy Lawler for forgetting about him when he took that beating from Brock.
People don't like Underground, but the presentation of
Braun
Ziggler
Riddick Moss
Titus ONeil
Eric
Have been a much needed improvement.
Now that Raw has picked up five new people can we ship Ziggler and Mustafa Ali to NXT. They would strive there.
All of the guys, I mentioned in the Underground look way more interesting there imho. I take the Underground over the 24/7 Clown show for low tier performers.

I hope this is an official account because Dijak is really taking the piss with the gimmick
