I love the color scheme. I’d be down for a design like this, especially if it were even more streamlined.
I hope Jean gets a cover of this destiny of X so I can hope for a costume change... Ohh man... Hard times

Remember, it’s always darkest before dawn.
Also, Jean will continue her gradual ascent and rise from the dark, murky depths of this era. Nothing will ever permanently hold back Xavier’s first student, the first X-Woman, and, to quote Ororo, “the heart of the X-Men.”
Just found this, Psylocke pulling a move Jean Grey: Psionic Psychotherapist playbook. I really do like that direction for Jean.

this was such an important moment for Mystique. I think they have finally explained with this scene why she became this horrible cliché villain in the last years and returned her to be a mutant terrorist with man actual agenda besides being "evil". Great moment for Mystique.

Make the top black and I’m sold.

That would basically be the original Morrison era suit, which isn't the point of the exercise. Black isn't really Jean's signature color.

I like the top green! This is Jean's green signature color. It looks so good against her flaming red hair.

I always point to the original Phoenix costume’s neckline, her two famous black dresses (the ones she wore at the Hellfire Club in DPS and in X-Factor #1), and New X-Men to justify the use of black, which, of course, she looks fabulous in. I think black adds class and dignity to her look.
In either case, I love the top and overall look. For the top, I would consider a softer military green, the color of the coat in the picture Kitty posted. The key lime green is a bit much for my tastes.
What about that combo Marvel Girl and Phoenix costume that was once shown?
While Jean is no longer Phoenix, it would combine the two iconic looks of Jean. And Jean is already wearing her green Marvel Girl dress, so it would just need the high gold boots, high gold gloves and Phoenix chest emblem.

Do you have a picture of it?

A combination of the Phoenix and Marvel Girl looks sounds like it would turn out gaudy. I really do hope they shift her into a simple, classic, streamlined look with muted and dark colors and black prominently featured, of course. I love the palette in the picture Kitty shared. Some people on here have already complained about her being depicted as a “Care Bear,” which I totally disagree with; however, I’d rather she not look like one.

I think this is would be a better look than just the MG costume that Jean is wearing now and much more appropriate by combining her two most iconic uniforms.
That is---until we get Jean's NEW Iconic costume! :) (Fingers crossed!)

Jesus Christ no. It looks exactly as I pictured it would: corny, gaudy, and just...😂
