To the utmost, I agree. I would love to see the return of this extraordinary regalia sometime in the near future.
I think most artists find the lion a total SOB to draw, which might be an issue. However, almost no one can draw the Davis-redesign anywhere near as well as Davis, so it's a toss-up.
I'm a fan of the original costume. I understand the difficulties of the lion and the "egg" issue but I really was disappointed when the costume got a revamp (although it's not bad at all).

I have my doubts. Covers can be very misleading, and I'm pretty sure Marvel have no interest in Brian Braddock as CB.
LOL at the article saying that Brian went by "Britannia" for a time!

Yeah he was Britannic for a time as I recall, not Britannia.
Anyway we'll see what the book is towards the end of the year I suppose. I hope it is what the article suggests!
Sure, it would be great to have Brian back in his own title and getting to do heroic stuff. I won't hold my breath while I'm waiting, though.
It's just a reprint as part of the Marvel Tales reprint series, it was delayed due to pandemic, so this is a re-solicit.
The cover is the same one as in the article:

Oh. That is disappointing.
Then why does it now have X of Swords branding? Reprints, for obvious reasons, would have nothing to do with the event.
So has Union been cancelled?
So has Union been cancelled?
Officially no, but delayed. It may well be though
Oh, it's definitely cancelled. The first three issues were meant to be an Empyre tie-in. Which now isn't happening. That means any completed work for it is now in the bin.
Did the Empyre preview mag still include any Union content? The digital version eliminated any cancelled stuff, but the print version is how it would've been before the pandemic.
