I know this is pretty subjective thing, but I think Mike del Mundo is arguably the best, and surely "the most appropriate" artist for Thor in a long, long time. Ribic is great, but his style is not well attuned to otherworldly stuff, imo. His work is more about the physical aspect. More Conan than Thor, in other words. Why would Thor revel in otherworldly stuff, you ask? Well... ;)
And Dauterman, while good artist, is too slick for my tastes (speaking only in the context of the subject matter, of course). I know he's quite popular, but popularity should be a concern of marketing people, not mine.
So, my answer to the question about the creative team I would like to work on the title after Aaron would be: del Mundo should stay, if possible.

I hope whoever takes over from Aaron on Thor is able to write more consistent Asgardian dialogue, because the disparity between Asgardian characters talking like they normally do, albeit a fair bit brasher or more crass, and then talking like your average New Yorker in a Marvel book just really takes me out of it.

I know what you mean. I can understand how difficult this type of dialogue can be, and I find it commendable that any writer is willing to do this task.

LFMAO Odin is destroyed beyond repair.
Thor looking for hammers every chapter... nothing new.
I'm dead.

Odin talking about mead, sleeping with a bunch of women, and how he's not really all that good an All-Father. Yep, it's Aaron's Odin :p.
Dear lord, even when he has actual hammers Thor can't shut up about hammers :(.
"You always were a mother's boy" that...sounds kind of offensive, I think?

Yeah this issue is supposed to really portray odin as an unfaithful drunk who has utterly failed in all aspects of his life...
And yeah that line kinda had a nasty tone to it

I'm not even remotely surprised
I've said before I think someone's issues are being worked through
Of course I could be wrong and opinions vary
But it's same old same old I feel

Looking back at Aaron's other work...you might have a point.

I'm still predicting that this will be a semi-redeeming issue, but I have to admit it is not off to a great start.
