I made my first Target Omni purchase yesterday. They were doing yet again a Buy 2 Get 1 Free Promotion.
My assumption is the packaging will be as iffy as Amazon and that one time I ordered from Barnes&Noble.
Prepared to be disappointed and get my books with dings. Who has done Returns with them? What is that like?
My choices:
Swamp Thing nu52 complete run
Batgirl of Burnside
Tony Stark: Iron Man by Dan Slott
With the deal it comes out to the books being essentially $51 apiece.
If I place an order, what are the chances of that actually being the price I will indeed pay for it?
They sent out an email today asking people if they want to keep the order, due to the release date changing. So they seem to be letting people keep the orders.
But I would reply to make sure they don't have a free pass to cancel.

That's cool of them. If I lived in the UK I would get a copy.

WHSmiths were also selling the NML Omni (and various Deluxe Ed./Absolutes) for 1p recently!
Got my order cancellation notice today, lol. Though they did say theyd send a £10 Voucher Code as a good will gesture, so whatever...

I mean, if they had cancelled it I would have had no complaint. They have no obligation to honour it, but I'm happy that they are :p

You can return any online target purchase to any target store. I’ve never had an issue returning damaged vinyl, I use the receipt in the target app but you can also use the email receipt.

An Amazon deal is giving either £5 or £10 off a £25 purchase and comics qualify. You can check if discount code "DISCOUNT5P" works here -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/b?node=26309407031 or whether code "DISCOUNT10P" works here -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/b?node=26309413031
A few humble suggestions are:
'Skyward HC' here -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/153431699X/ , it has a £5 stackable discount you apply on the item page, making it possibly £11.99
'A Silent Voice Vol. 1 HC' herre -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/Silent-Voice-Complete-Collectors/dp/1646512499/ possibly £15.89, it's supposed to be a great manga and it's Berserk Deluxe format
... (these are the two I am eyeing)
Or maybe 'V for Vendetta Deluxe' here -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1401285007/ for £15 (make sure to choose other sellers and tick the coupon and add the Amazon listing to your basket) or 'Sweet Tooth' here -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sweet-Tooth-Compendium-Jeff-Lemire/dp/1779510241/ for £22.21

Thanks Joe! Qualified for the £10 off, ordered three TPBs that I had on my wishlist (two Amazing Spider-Man by Nick Spencer and one Avengers by Jason Aaron)

I'm intrigued because at a minimum it's 1000+ pages of Grant Morrison craziness, but I haven't read it to recommend it gohei_ sorry.
You can always pre-order, then cancel if you get back feedback on here.

They did the same on the American and Canadian Amazons about a week ago. Crazy that they don't learn from their mistakes.

Thanks for the tip. I just picked it up.
