Mutant, human - people still rag on her for dating someone "different" to take shots at her. This is particularly worrying when we're in an X-Men forum, who's entire brand is about being inclusive and how mutants are a metaphor for marginalised groups.

Sometimes it feels like X-men (and their fans) have reached the point where they hate anyone that's different from them.
Curious. You do know the metaphor for those who disagree with Wanda dating Vision was that she was "dating outside her own race."
she was dating a robot, a toaster, a machine, a human sized kitchen utensill

I think its a lil more worrying a person discussing Wanda on an XForum deciding that the derisive language being used towards her somehow says something about the fandom

Dude Whaaaat? Wanda almost genocided the whooooole race of mutants across the multiverse. so if hating her means a person is less than...Great! Im sure theyd rather be a mutant

more like X Æ A-12 is vision incarnate

Fun fact, the FBI spent years investigating these boards for clues to the Vision / Scarlet Witch arson incident but decided there were so many haters that they just gave up.

That issue also contains the perfect Wanda reaction panel for this entire board,

...and Captain America's ultimate clueless, condescending "some of my best friends are mutants" comment. Avengers 252, the issue that has it all (except a good story).

You're calling being against inter-racial dating "derisive language"? In the real world we call this a metaphor for racism, its what the X-men was built on to fight against. Have you learnt nothing reading the X-men? It's not fandom, only a certain part of it.

This false flat when people downplay Sinister massacring the Morlocks. This isn't about genocide, it's about what team Wanda's on and you think Wanda's not on yours. As well as the fact Wanda was a mutant until a retcon.

What do you have against Vision?
Edit: Are you against Danger joining the X-men?

How many anti-mutant hate rallies has he and his buddies defended from the mutant menace lately?

I think that's in the "is anti-mutant hate speech free speech?" thread.

just the one on Rosenberg's run. Cap would never protect a hate discourse

That's kind of a mixed message your sending here.
"How dare this (racial slur) not stand up to people using racial slurs."
That's pretty much the gist I've been getting from most of this thread though. It's okay for people to be racists as long as it's against the correct race.
Wanda almost genocided the whooooole race of mutants across the multiverse.
There are so many things wrong with this statement I don't know where to start making fun of it.

I think that the current run would see her be executed on the spot and not tried unless of course, they plan to have her undergo trial by combat against Apocalypse with a severe handicap.
But to answer the question being presented here, my answer is no.
My reason for it is simply put, in Children's Crusade when she regained the memories she wanted to do everything in her power to restore mutants, she even proved she could do that when she gave Rictor his power back before the eyes of Jamie and Hank and she would have done so if Summers and his team hadn't come in like a mad bull in an antique shop and demanded she surrender to them even when Jamie and Hank told him she could undo M-Day and had proof she could do that...of course if that had happened then we wouldn't have gotten that oh so delightful romp called AvX...so thank Marvel for not doing the right thing and ending M-day sooner as well as redeem her... you idiots.
Speaking of a garbage fire, she also helped Hope undo M-Day but guess that just doesn't cut it I guess for them, oh well guess will see her in the arena then where the mutans will revel in seeing her bloody corpse on the sand.
But at the end who here wants to bet that AvX 3 is on the horizon? Anyone? Any takers? I got good odds for it.
