At first I thought that was Soloman Grundy,
then I take a closer look, and it's actually Ultra-Humanite, but rotten, and brains out.
Apart from Eclipso, I don't recognize many other characters.

Could be than Ultra puts his brain in a Solomon Grundy discarded corpse. That would be a twist.

I recognize Coldcast from behind. Ex-partner of Manchester Black. And the guy behind Ultra seems to be Iron Cross (member of the Aryan Brigade).
The women I don't know, but maybe at least one of them could be a rework of a Tangent character.
I must add I have no idea against who is fighting Apollo.

"Split the Man of Steel in half" sounds like it could be literal. Superman Red and Superman Blue?

The influence of Tyler Hoechlin is growing.

"Split the Man of Steel in half"
Do that literally, make the idea of the merger being the two halves of a whole actually false, that they were two separate versions along, and I'll be damned if my interest doesn't do a complete 180. I'm not counting on it but hey, a little bit of a dream is a dream nonetheless. He's experienced advanced cellular degeneration and thus aging because Mxy was wrong and this is two incompatible Supermen from different realitites shoved into the same being. Again, dream a little dream.

What do you mean? I'm not seeing anything there particular to Hoechlin.

The shaving, my friend, the shaving.

I kinda see it and I'm not bothered by it at all.
-
Ah I see. Guess I don't really see it because I'm used to him having stubble a lot.

Me neither. Just wanted to point it.
Back on topic, I am gonna throw a guess: the bald girl could be a new version of Ladytron, from WildCATs fame.

I thought I could see some Hoechlin in his design.

Great interview! Grant's opinions on why Superman going evil is ridiculous is pretty close to mine.

Also has an unlettered preview in there for those of you trying to avoid all spoilers.
I think the idea that Superman would react to the death of Lois Lane by becoming a tyrant is ridiculous; my mum and dad died and I didn't become a tyrant. If I can handle it, Superman can handle it.
Amen Grant, ament.

Grant calling out the "dead Lois = unstable, evil Superman" for the steaming pile of bullshit it is gives me life

When Morrison starts talking **** about Injustice and Snyder’s plan:
This book is coming out at a time when we're seeing a lot of authoritarian Supermans and Superman analogs. What do you think is behind this trend of subverting Superman into something more sinister?
It's something I've come to terms with and pared down to it coming down to the patriarchal structures that have been oppressing us and Superman can easily be made to be representative of that. This dad-like figure looking out for us can be made authoritarian but I think that's a mistake.
