DCEU? Yes...
Yes.
10char.
From the 4 yes, clearly.
Not much of a competition but still.
Yes, by a large margin. Its the first one that not **** in someway imo. But im sure someone will come in here with how BvS was for intelligent people and everyone who didnt like it is dumb. Id say MoS is a distant 2nd. While i didnt like the movie it was well made and my problems with it were purely personal. I dont like Snyder depiction of superman. BvS and SS were dumpster fires but atleast SS was fun.
I'm not clear on whether the Nolan trilogy is part of the DCEU, given that some of what we've seen of Old Batman seems to draw from those films. If the answer is no, then the answer to the poll is yes, but WW was still pretty bad
DCEU only consists of Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman so far.
Just DCEU? Oh yes easily, but that's not exactly a high bar.
1. Wonder Woman
2. Suicide Squad - Not for quality but it was enjoyable.
3. Batman v Superman - Basically for Batman.
4. Man of Steel - Not my taste for what they did with Superman.
Yes, but then thats a really really low bar.
The third act in Wonder Woman is really bad, basically falls apart.
But the stellar first 2 acts of that movie still put it head, shoulders, hips and calfs above the other entries in the DCEU.
Yes. Of course.
Firstly, because it's awesome in it's own right from start to finish.
And secondly, because every other movie in the franchise up until WW had been uniformly, unequivocally and utterly, utterly awful.
It's definitely the best DCEU movie thusfar. I'd even put it in my top ten of all time favourite comic book movies. Just where it belongs on that list, I'm not sure. Sometimes movies I liked fall down in my opinion as time goes by--THE DARK KNIGHT RISES for example, while it was great when I watched it, I never felt the need to see it again. Whereas, I saw WW six times in the theatre and I have two copies of the DVD/Blu Ray on order. SUPERMAN (1978) is still number one on my list, but I keep changing my mind what order to put the other comic book movies. I'd say that WW is about as good as BATMAN BEGINS.
Yes. I'd say it's right up there with Nolan's Batman.
Hell, no.
It was super generic and the ending came out of nowhere. It was very clear that they stepped off the goals they were trying to reach and the just put out some by-the-numbers thing so it would be safe.
Before I answer I should just say BvS is one of the best superhero films of all time. Philosophical, beautifully shot and choreographed, superbly written and acted. Poetry on screen featuring two cultural icons facing the worst and persevering. Delves into why those characters are so wonderful and who they are at their core. I could go on for hours.
However, Man of Steel is the best DCEU movie. The best Superman movie. The best superhero movie. Of. All. Time.
Wonder Woman is a pure audience pleasing popcorn flick. It's not bad and I enjoyed it overall but it wasn't memorable in any way. The final action sequence is pure schlock and Wonder Woman's victory over Ares didn't feel earned to me.
