The Kinks from around 79-80. What's interesting is that during the audience sing along where Ray says, "This is the disco version" and it's just the drum beat, my local AOR station bleed out that statement. Supposedly cuz they this was during the "Disco Sux" era and they were the station that hired Steve Dahl the man behind "Disco Demolition."

No.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Neil Peart is no longer in the world. That's just.......oh my God, there are no words really.
So Rush actually are mortal after all. ****.
RIP to the greatest rock drummer of all time. Utterly gutted.

While you can guess that guys like Peter Laughner or Johnny Thunders would probably never get the chance, I really thought the guys from Rush might just get to ride off into the sunset.
It's a real shame that the guy didn't get a better break.

Apparently, this is less significantly 'rock and roll' than Whitney Houston:

No class? That's rather an apt choice for a song title here. Rock And Hall Hall Of Fame? No class whatsoever. It obviously understands rock and roll slightly less than this thread does. Honestly, I'm laughing right now as I'm typing.

This enormous crowd at River Plate stadium in Buenos Aires seem to quite like AC/DC. Not recommended for readers of the NME.

The announcer is wearing some super short shorts. For all you kids, this was very normal for straight guys back in the 70's. :o

Of course, all the Mad Max/Road Warrior imagery has nothing to do with the lyrics, but it was super common in videos across board during the mid-80's.

Pat Benatar of course had a big hit with this song but this is the original by Helen Schneider.

It's kinda funny...the vid is basically Helen just lip synching, until the every end when an astronaut with a goat walk on the set!

If you ever wondered why Wolverine had such a weird hairdo, back in the 70's muttin-chop sideburns were a thing...

One of the ultimate Prog Rock tests. For anyone out there looking to discover some more expansive and multi-textured rock then why not give this a try? This is Gates Of Delirium by Yes, the epic opener to their awesome 1974 opus Relayer:

If not this, then maybe try listening to ELP's Tarkus. If you can't bear to endure the whole 20.35 minutes of that then you should probably stick to Oasis and Nickelback.
