For comparison with DC's Amazons mostly.
Themyscira tends to default to either showing Amazons being warrriors or reading books while lounging. I like the variety shown for the Kuja; they are doing carpentry, fishing, farming, hunting, etc. It's more than I usually see from DC's Amazons doing. Though the latter gets more screen time that OP's Amazons.

I think George swiped Kory's legs for Diana for that image:

So I was wondering;
do you prefer the Amazons to be:
-reincarnations of women who have fallen to violence?
OR
-created from scratch by the Goddesses and never experienced oppression from Man's World until Heracles?

Reincarnation for the first generation or so though I'd add that pre-Hercales/isolation there numbers were increased by mortal women.

I like the concept that De Liz propound, there are Amazons who are immortal, they would be like a first generation,
there are others who are mortal, and every 10 years new Amazons are born/send, I think from the cave of souls.

What happens to the mortal Amazons? Do they just live on the island until their mortal life span runs out?

I like the reincarnation aspect. I know Gods are all powerful but I think them making Amazons from scratch with souls and all puts into question "why dont you just make more? Why doesnt Ares just make a whole army of men/women?"
Basically creating life from scratch should be very hard to do.

I agree. I lean towards the reincarnation aspect too. It gives them a touch of reality and connection to our world. There is tons of story telling potential in that.

So in the latest Titans episode we get to see Themiscryia and the Amazons. Sadly the writers being the writers....used no known Amazons but one thing they did do.............the Amazons had children as the main Amazon we interact with reveals she had a daughter she lost in battle.

Apparently the black Amazon is Myrrha from Perez's run, unless the writers just picked a random name from the Greek mythology (which sounds more likely to be honest).
