I am curious as to how popular Biden actually is, I personally do not see the appeal, but alright. I hope you are right if he wins the nomination.
I think a lot of the problems that created Trumpism are due to corruption from the donor class, Bernie is willing to take them on, Biden is not and as long as the donor class remains unchallenged, the problems remained, heck that is what Trump bashed Clinton with in the 2016 election.
I don't deny Bernie's willingness. I deny his effectiveness.
The Dems would be fools to get rid of the Electoral College with the trends in populations.
How has the Electoral College been working out for them lately? Didn't seem to work in 2000 or 2016, did it? What if Trump wins the Electoral College again, while losing the popular vote, than what?
Though frankly getting rid of the Electoral College would be pretty hard, so maybe the US is just stuck with it, but at least tackle gerrymandering and voter surpression. Jeeze, where were the Dems when the GOP started gaming the system?

Someone who tries and fails still has a better chance of succeeding than someone who does not try at all.
Your regular reminder that Hillary was so disliked, she got more votes than any white man who ever won the presidency, and more than Obama in 2012.
That can also inspire the opposition to turn out in droves to vote against someone. Being disliked can manifest in more than one way.

Narrator's voice:
None of the candidates actually do not try at all.
Joint Chiefs Chair GEN Milley: “That letter is a draft it was a mistake, it was unsigned, it should not have been released…poorly worded, implies withdrawal, that is not what’s happening”
Twitter Link
General Milley has just said the letter regarding troop movements out of Iraq was a draft, and releasing it was a "mistake." It was however delivered to the Iraqi military. It seems the U.S. military is as confused as everyone else about what their intentions are.
Twitter Link

And people want four more years of this madness?

I believe the madness is what they want, yes. In fact, they seem to desire even deeper madness still.

The military is known for its clusterfucks but nothing this bad.
Bigger question is will you vote for Sanders if he does win the primary?
As I’ve stated, I will. I won’t ask of Bernie hardliners anything I wouldn’t be willing to do myself. If I want Bernie hardliners to put aside THEIR egos and support someone else if their guy doesn’t get the nom, the same holds true for any other hardliners. Support your dream candidate in the primary. Support the not-Trump candidate in the general. Unity of purpose, whatever our reasons FOR that unity, is the only way we win. Period.
What if Sanders picks Jill Stein as his Veep
That will never happen.
Your regular reminder that Hillary was so disliked, she got more votes than any white man who ever won the presidency, and more than Obama in 2012.
Trump got more votes than any other white man that ran for President.
That's what happens as the population grows, more people vote in elections.

Serious question...
How will my support stop a guy like Biden from challenging people to push up contests?
In addition, is there a way that it can erase things like the time that the guy looked out for big business when they had his kid on the payroll to the tune of six figures?
Because either on of those would really, really come in hand if he should win the nomination.
-
This will happen regardless of who gets the nomination as the party is so divided. Despite his more moderate policies, Obama had the charisma to ignite some hope and passion in the democratic voters. Which of course led to a great turnout. Bernie still has his passionate base but he’s very polarizing. The only thing Biden is running on is that he’s not Trump. He’s trying to sway some traditional republicans to his side and hopes that enough of the liberal wing of the party hates Trump enough to get behind him if he gets the nom.
If the economy stays strong up until the election I don’t think either of these guys has a chance of beating Trump. I’m obviously going to vote for who ever the Dems nominate but I have very low enthusiasm for the front runners. Which is scary considering how dire the situation is. Maybe Gavin Newsom will challenge Trump in 2024, if we’re still allowed to have elections that is.
Never mind that Democrats are so busy winding up to blame a Sanders supporter that there has been right around "Zero..." discussion of if it will be a tight enough race that Sanders supporters might not make up for Democrats that could vote "Trump" or sit it out.
If you have an economy that they are doing reasonably well in, can anyone sit right here today and say with certainty that there won't be enough Democrats to swing it putting Trump in a position to win because they are doing ok in the economy of Trump's first term?
Because it's not like it would take many if it is an even remotely tight race.

If I actually thought your questions were serious, I would answer. However, we established last night that your ‘questions’ are just you explicitly working to divide the left, so...there’s no reply that I can give that would stop what you’re going to do. You did it in the lead up to 2016. You’ve done it for the entire three years since. You have made it very clear that you not only want the left to be ineffective and splintered, but have absolutely no interest in working to unify, unless it’s behind your guy, the only guy that matters, Saint Bernardus Immaculatus, He Who Is Perfect In All Ways, One True King-Priest of Socialism, Half-Divine.
Anyone else, you are gonna work your best to undermine, just as you have for the last several years. Oh, you SAY you’ll vote democrat, but...*shrug* Your words and your post history over the last several years has left you with the general trustworthiness and believability of a guy selling beach front property in Colorado...
And it’s well documented more Democratic Hillary supporters voted for McCain. So way to try gaslight a point
I wonder how much that poll is skewed by some Hillary supporters being very happy with Obama by the time he became President.
