Yes, they should share the characters at this point. The most obvious would be Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Beyond that, I want the FF to be with the greater MCU. At this point it's impossible to have a Thing/Hulk fight! Come on!

lol any more lopsided and I'm worried that poll will break.
The Fantastic Four is my favorite, and so I dearly wish for Reed Richards and the rest to be a part of my MCU. The last movies were just awful.
Although, I must admit, the trailer they just released for the upcoming movie looks great, like they finally get what the potential of what they have in their hands.
I'm not really in the X-Men camp, but I would think Marvel could do it better than Fox. I'm definitely not in the mood for Fox's reboot, whenever that hits.

Such limited and simplistic poll choices for such a complex topic . . .
Bryan Singer's X-movieverse? In theory, yes. There's nothing I'd love to see more than Stewart's Professor X and Jackman's Wolverine going toe-to-toe with Downey's Iron Man and Evans' Cap . . . and less cramming of the Inhumans (a.k.a. the poor man's mutants) down our collective throats. In reality, however, the timelines of the X-movieverse and the MCU are already too contradictory . . .
Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot? Hell no.
Another Fantastic Four reboot, guided by Marvel Studios with creative input from guys like Mark Waid & Karl Kesel? Hell yes.

Just send back the FF so we can have an annihilation film
Yeah sure why not? But I think FF should try to stand on its own first, and it's going to take more than 1 film to do so. So ask me the same question again after FF2
That's a pretty big assumption. The New FF film may tank, or at least may not do well at the box office, so there is no guarantee of an FF2. If it fails, then lets see if Fox and Marvel can work out a similar deal as Sony/Marvel has.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Tranks film may be a good movie, but I fear it will NOT be a good Fantastic Four movie. I actually liked the first film, although they did miss the mark with Doom. The second just didn't deliver a good Silver Surfer, and you cannot have the surfer without Galactus proper.
Reboot the FF and bring them into the MCU.

Gotta say that the poll, in concept, is broken considering how everyone's voting is going.
I'm in the same boat as seemingly most here: yes to F4, no to X-Men. The Fantastic Four can easily be cycled into the current lore of the MCU. The X-Men, on the other hand, would require a full on reboot of both the MCU and X-Men to work for either considering the absence of mutants as a concept in the MCU.

only if marvel gets final say on creative control. otherwise, fox should just stop making movies.

it would only require x-men to reboot, not marvel. the mutants would just have to be either an up-to-now hidden segment of the population or/and a new leap in evolution just now being noticed to be taking place.
basically, they'd be called inhumans.

ABSOLUTELY YES. The fact that anyone is saying they want Fox to continue making standalone X-Men is insane to me. Fox has made a couple of pretty good generic sci-fi movies with characters and plots that vaguely resemble the X-Men, but they have NEVER come close to capturing the spirit of the X-Men at all. They barely even register as being legitimate superheroes in these films IMO. The franchise needs a complete and total reboot after Apocalypse, and I'd like to see it done in conjunction with Marvel.
If that's how I feel about the X-Men, who have gotten a few decent films out of Fox, I suppose it really goes without saying that I feel the same for the mistreated FF.
-
Doom moreso than the actual FF.
I don't want the X-Men in the MCU. It'd be jarring now anyway but I always felt they'd work best divorced from a world that already has multiple teams of well established heroes.

IF the X-Men were to join the MCU, I would actually prefer the X-Films to be set 10-15 years in the future of the MCU. The Fox films have just about exhausted the "mutants as a minority, fighting for their place in the world" angle and I'd like to see them dive right in at the Morrison/pre-MDay Whedon point where mutants are already established and on the way to being the dominant species on the planet just as a change of pace. Not saying that they're necessarily accepted by all humans, but more of a "we're here, we're mutants, deal with it!" attitude where they can actually get to be superheroes. Other films set in the "past" MCU can fill in the blanks as needed to the rise of the mutant populace and even feature Xavier, Magneto, Logan, and other key players.

Kinda wish there was a 'depends' option, at least for X-Men. Fox hasn't exactly been faithful with the X-Men and have had a habit of focusing on certain characters over others, but they also have crafted some interesting takes too and some great actors and actresses playing the characters on the whole. If they cut a deal with the MCU with the X-Men universe there's clearly far too much difference to make them gel, so they'd have to either restart the series (which would likely be good and bad in a way) or do some form of multiple universes thing for an Avengers vs X-Men style film.
Fantastic Four though, yes, they need to go back to Marvel proper. Fox does not appear to have any idea what a Fantastic Four film should be and what makes Doom menacing especially.

I dont think it'll tank. Ppl are going to go see it, even tho they may not like it, but they already have FF2 planned so they might be thinking the same thing. If it makes enough money they're gonna go for another one regardless if fans like it or not

For the X-Men:
As a fan of the characters, yes, because I'd love to see Marvel's take on them in a movie.
As a fan of the comic books, yes, because I feel they've been de-prioritized ever since Marvel Studios got off the ground, due to them simply not being as profitable for Marvel as Avengers and related franchises.
As a fan of the concept, no, because I feel the introduction of the Inhumans to the Marvel Studios universe already takes the spot that thematically and tonally the X-Men would occupy should Marvel get the rights to them back.
As a fan of the Marvel Studios universe, no, because introducing a sub-species so similar to the direction they've taken the Inhumans would feel self-derivative and unnecessarily bloated.
As far as the Fantastic Four go, a huge part of their appeal to me is their status as the first superheroes of the Marvel universe essentially, so I'd really only like Marvel get them back if that aspect of their concept could be retained somehow. Perhaps have them be prequel heroes whose adventures parallel (or come just before) Hank Pym's in the sixties or seventies? Say they debuted around that time and are a hidden part of history only select few know, and then bring them into the present day Marvel U via some kind of time travel experiment/adventure gone wrong? I don't know but something like that. I just feel their concept loses a little something if all these other Avengers and heroes came first, before they even had the accident that granted them powers.
