Good to know, wonder if Hal would get a mention on that show. Judging by Donna telling Dick about Bruce and Diana talking "League business" on "Titans", the Justice League clearly exists in that world.

Unless they want to a very aged Hal, I don't think Hal & Larry's rivalry/friendship is going to make it to the TV show. Rita is from the 50s, Larry is from the 60s and Cliff is from the 80s.
It's delightfully weird.

Don't recall Hal being friends with Larrt Trainor. Were they?
I think the only time it was really mentioned was "JLA:Year One." Were there others?
Just thought I'd post this here since her Appreciation Thread is probably closed, but Kari Wahlgren will be voicing Star Sapphire in the new DC Super Hero Girls cartoon.
Funnily enough this is actually a role reprisal since Kari played Carol in her one appearance on Young Justice, but this will be the first time she's played her as Star Sapphire.

Yup, it was introduced in Waid & Kitson's JLA Year One. The only one who followed up on the idea was Darwyn Cooke, who showed their first meeting in New Frontier, in which all of DC's test pilot characters teamed up against The Centre.
so cool that hal will be appearing in dceased....

Given that this is for the 7th issue, I'm fairly certain this would end up being the cover for the second trade, too. :)

About JLA Year One, was the first meeting between the League and Doom Patrol based on an old silver age story?

As far as I know, the JLA and Doom Patrol never teamed-up in the Silver Age. That's one of the great things about Waid & Kitson's story, adding in Dan Garret, Doom Patrol, the Silver Age Blackhawks, and more were so fun.
