Seeking a forgotten story

Hi,
I'm new to this site, so I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this!
I have been looking for many years for a story which I don't know the name of : it is about the Egyptian King Sesostris, who influences the modern world through dreams and causes storms. The story starts with a plane flying over Egypt, which I remember especially well because it mentions sheet lightning, which I'd never heard of before.
The story was in a 1970s reprint of a 1950s/1960s comic book. It was one of those titles like Strange Adventures, Uncanny Worlds etc
If anyone can suggest what this story might have been, or where/how I might find it, I'd be very grateful
