I bought a 1976 DC calendar this morning. The images are mostly drawn by Neal Adams & inked Dick Giordano, while most days on the calendar mark birthdays and momentous events, using images from the comics over the years. Here, in 1976, are the Wonder-related dates!

Hippolyte's birthday is Jan 8th:

Steve crashed on Paradise Island on Aug 13 (a Friday, of course):

And Diana returned him to the US 3 weeks later, making her debut on Sept 4th:

Finally, WW has her own page in September. I'm pretty sure this image has been used in other merchandising?

One uncomfortable aspect of the calendar is that, when all of these different heroes are given birthdays throughout the year, it's easy to see how very, very white the DCU was in 1976. The only POC in the entire calendar are John Stewart on his Oct 17th birthday, Dr. King, Jr, on his birthday, and a random indigenous man on American Indian Day. Everyone else is either white or an alien.

I have this comic where they celebrate Diana's false birthday, in the description they say that spring has arrived, so that would be exactly the date.
In her "thoughts" she says that this is not the day of her birthday, that she lied for the Pentagono's file and that she reserves that day to return to the Paradise Island. Love it!
