I got the first TPB on the strength of the creative team (I loved Brubaker's CAPTAIN AMERICA run, GOTHAM CENTRAL and a lot else so it was going to be a title I enjoyed!) and have promptly pre-ordered the second TPB 9its that good!)
However, I am not seeing any mention of it in Image's solicit (I *could* just be being blind), has it been cancelled? I sincerely hope not because I'd like to see a third trade and beyond!

It's not been canceled. The second arc is due to wrap up in February and then the second trade are due to [URL="https://imagecomics.com/content/view/image-comics-solicitations-for-march-2015"]start in March[/URL].
I think the series is taking small breaks between storyarcs, just like Saga and some of the other Image series.

Ah okay, thanks for that. It makes sense (and more answers what I was asking, I knew the release date of the second TPB). Its a case of an arc then a few months off is it?

It varies, but yes. Usually it is for the artist to have time to catch up.
^ What WeirdSpace says. I really enjoy Steve Epting but Epting is taking his time to ensure the art is on point. It's why I am waiting for several arcs to be collected before I read more of it.
