I agree. Victory!

Boxofficemojo is estimating that Endgame came in slightly below expectations for the weekend with 145 million. They were expecting it to be over 150 million. If the 145 number holds then Force Awakens, which got 149 million in its second weekend, will retain the top 2nd weekend of all time.

Box Office Mojo is also backing 2.18 Billion

Endgame has beaten Titanic globally and has a shot at beating Avatar. Domestically, I think Endgame will finish in between Avatar and The Force Awakens.

I think Endgame will beat Avatar.
Its going to be around $2.5bn next week and I can't imagine the movie misses $2.8bn.
Domestically, I can't see it catching the Force Awakens. TFA second weekend was during Xmas which really helped it. Theres also a lot of competition in the next weeks.

Looks like it’s going to dethrone Avatar.

keep in mind it's just the estimates which are historically a bit conservative, it still has a chance to top it when the actual come out tomorrow

2b in less then 2 full week?! I thought 3B would be tough to break but I now believe we underestimated, I think this movie will do it..
Do people generally want movies to change their lives?
Follow-up: isn’t your life already changed? The constant hate posts you make seems like you’ve been given a purpose.
LOL
Sure, it can happen. Especially to impressionable 8 year olds, for whom Star Wars (for example) was their first foray into Sci-Fi, a genre which was obviously appealing to said impressionable 8 year old.
But I mostly watch movies just to be entertained. I suppose though, in lots of smaller ways, every movie changes my life, if one wants to broaden their horizon on the matter. But that's a very generous use of the phrase at that point.
Mostly: expecting a movie to change your life (and thereafter being disappointed it didn't) is like...wha--?
But I also question what kind of life an 8 year old had that could be "changed" instead of just "molded".
On the one hand, I think I can see what the poster was trying to say in terms of how this movie's profits will not change their lives. Let's be honest, whatever place this movie ends up in box office history, it will most likely not lead to any money being made by the fans.
On the other hand, I would not have gone out of my way to post on a thread discussing box office dollars about how the box office results will not change my life :D

Seeing you cheer for a MCU movie is weird. Even if it's only cause you dislike Avatar alot more.

Somebody's been messing with the reality stone. Possibly even the soul stone.
