Lady Hellbender being noble to monsters and wanting to get into Drax's pants is...something :p.
Makes me wonder if we'll see any established alien monsters in the game via Hellbender. Getting to fight some Brood would be fun.

Universal Church of Truth will be the villains of the game. I like that choice. I like Cosmo's Russian accent.

I'm curious if they'll touch on the Magus/Adam Warlock at all.

It's possible he could be a boss you defeat and then becomes playable

I would expect him to become more endgame...although I wonder how Mantis figures into things.

Devs confirmed that Star Lord is the only playable character

Well, then he could be defeated at the end and become playable in a sequel.
As for Mantis, I can't be sure but I'd like to see her be playable too, but with more of her comics characterization as well

Oh, I forgot that. Why is that?

I think a better question is if Mantis becomes usable during combat if she joins the team.

I guess so. Psychic NPC ally would be useful

Apologies I forgot how to embed videos. Not sure I could do it on a cell phone even if I remembered how.😁
So this leads to a gameplay footage and first impressions vid from IGN.

Reviews are coming out.
The overall sentiment is looks stunning, VA is amazing, gameplay is shallow, story is deep.
Seeing lots of 8s, 4/5 stars, Bs, etc for grades.

The gameplay is looking like the most disappointing aspect. I don't like the idea of having to call upon the other Guardians to do damage. I couldn't I just switch characters if that's the route they were going to go with the combat?
I brought it and it's currently downloading.

I have enjoyed this game so far. I'd prefer to be able to switch to the characters themselves, but it's not a huge bother to order them to do things instead. It at least doesn't have the crippling issues I experienced with the Avengers launch. I've loved some of the lore, interactions and easter eggs [spoil]like Jack Flag showing up[/spoil]. It already has more variation in setting and enemies than Avengers has had. It has a large amount of accessibility options. Which helps people like me who have some limitations. It's pretty solid.

I started the game and I'm enjoying it. Fans of the movies will definitely love this game. The banter between the Guardians is great.
Square must have spend a lot of money getting licensed music for this game. I was definitely not expecting that.

The 80s hits on boss fights was unexpected. For me at least.
