She was pretty uptight and judgemental about stuff, so I could believe her. She wasn't Carrie's mom, but you get the idea.
I got to hand it to Brainiac, He's pretty good with propaganda and grandstanding lol
It's like Brainiac knew of the plan and completely turned it to his favor. He knows how to work them.
Since Alura brought it up I do want to know who Zod's father is. He's obviously lying when he said he didn't know.

Yep. And the revelation that his mother and Seyg were lovers was pretty startling to him, so he's no branch of the House of El. It wasn't the soldier guy, whose arm was just blasted off and killed (he was my theory).
Plot twist; Adam Strange?

It will be so odd for Strange to be so gun ho about killing his own son.

But he doesn't know Zod is his son yet.
I like how Brainiac has the government under his control
Interesting show. Slow start. But I like it much better than the arrowverse shows. I love political maneuvering, of the houses in this show. I just feel like they should be a bit more devoid of emotion. I've always read how devoid of feelings, how focused on science they were. I don't know I'll keep streaming it though. Got me hooked so far.
You have to remember that the unemotional Kryptonians we've usually seen are those of Jor-El's time, right before the planet exploded. This is about 100 years before Jor-El. Perhaps this is the story of how they got to that point of eradicating all emotion.

Plus, Kandor at least, is under the control of religious zealots. A fairly emotional form of government, to be sure.
I hope it gets renewed for season 2, this is a really good show. My favorite out of all the DCTV shows.
This show is better than anything the CW or WB has every done for live action comics themed movie.
Grandma Zod is having her doubts about her grandson. I would think Lyta would have a bigger problem with him than her but she's pre-occupied with other things.
It seems more obvious to me now that Seg and Nyssa child will be Jor-el.
I feel for Kem.
I like how Zod is very sincere on saving Krypton.
