I think 12 told us he went into a wormhole but we never actually saw how he ended up as a slave or how his memories were wipes.
also do we have the preview for the issue dropping next week?
We more or less already know what happens though. He arrived three years before the start are the arc. Fought in the area and proved how good he was, fought for the empire against the Shi'ar(which at this point it would be hard to believe he doesn't know about the slavery), my speculation is that like King David he got to popular with the people, Monger tells Achebe to kill him, Achebe is a traitor so he must just wipe his memory in a twisted way to protect him.
I would say this should have bee issue 13. To swing back to it after he possible is back on Earth and somebody is brining the real Killmonger into the picture seems wasted to happen six months later.

So based on the Agents of Wakanda solicit, will T'Challa be going to space as well with the Avengers or will he be staying on earth?

I would guess staying near earth. One of the solicit pics looks like they're on the moon. And the Avengers appear to be going to a prison the size of a galaxy.

The preview is out, but I cant even say he is really "home", the city looks so sterile. It looks more like Acuna took a city from one of the empire planets and transplanted it on Earth.
well after the BP movie dropped I didn't think we'd get 18 issues of T'Challa being a slave........I'm just saying
18 issues a slave.... Damn... Also LOL nice find MoS. This issue should of followed after 12 instead of jumping off to issue's 13-17 nonsensical filler

For me, the run never started.

Reading what Zub has planned for the AoW, I'm pumped.
This sounds like what Ultimates should have been with more action.
I know they don't have heavy hitters but this group actually seems like a team instead of a collection of individuals.
And Zub, ignore everything from the solo and do your thing.

I hope to see T'Challa with some cool feats rather than him just seating down orchestrating strategies for the team.
-
It weirds me out the a team called "Agents of Wakanda" is majority non-Wakandan.

We had this discussion. Besides Okoye who in the general public, villain, and non avenger hero community would expect this group to be working for Wakanda?
