I've had enough of the Scott Snyder/Tom/King Bendis era of DC
Much more looking forward to Batman: Curse of the White Knight
Didn't Scott Snyder say Last Knight on Earth was his final Batman story?
I was wondering how it's gonna be different than Knights...crusade or whatever that arc was... Knightfall, Knightsend... why is the middle arc name escapes me?! QUEST! Knightquest! That's the name!... I was wondering how it's going to be different until I read this
"This new story will see Bane's child rising up to fight Azrael"
Omigosh Batfam really is a soap opera
Who's the mom? Talia? I'm gonna put a bet on a Talia, just because Bane stays with the League and was considered successor for a while and Talia is like the source of secret offsprings.
Eeey Kyle Higgins back. When's the last time he partnered with Snyder?
It seems to be more his Son of Bane first story here :p

Maybe he just meant his final Bruce Wayne as Batman story (could his take on DickBats be next?)? Or maybe "final" as in his take on Batman's final adventure?

I think he meant final Batman story with Capullo. Which even then may not end up being true, since he's talked about the possibility of doing Metal 2 with him.
Almost the entirety of Snyder's DC catalogue is Batman related, he's never gonna get off that train so easily.
It's nice to see Knightfall remembered :).
Enough. /10char

Personally I'd rather see DC putting more focus on other parts of the existing Multiverse for awhile instead or as a counterpoint to the Dark Multiverse at the very least.

I guess it is truly more than just some random oneshots in the end, and I'm liking it !

Looks like it’s building up to Metal 2.
Everything everywhere is leading to CRISIS 2020.
If the lack of detail about why these Tales of the Dark Multiverse titles exist is meant to be stealthy, it's not. They're so overtly and obviously one-shot set-ups for CRISIS stuff, akin to Tales of the Black Lantern Corps tying into Blackest Night, or your various "Countdown to Blankety-Blank Crisises."

Ugh. Everything shouldn't have to tie in to some big event. Much prefer these just be stand alone stories and not bait for something else.
Well, having read it, the Tempys Watchernaught stuff is just a framing sequence. Has no bearing on the main story except a bit of narration and some pages lost to irrelevant-to-the-actual-story Crisis build.
