She is his wife in the show.[/QUOTE]
Are they observing Human Culture? Just curious how Blackbolt knows Sign Language or is it a Inhuman version?

They have access to feeds from the human world, so they can clearly observe them. As to whether it's human sign language or an inhuman form, I have no idea.

They said it was created for the show.

I actually liked the sign language. Makes Black Bolt even more unique and represent those who can't or don't speak/hear.

2 friends saw it said it was mostly bad. They did say Lockjaw,BlackBolt, and Maximus were good but thats it. They also said it was only an hour long is that true?!?! For two episodes? That cant be right

He puts on these big boots so they don’t have to pay for the practical effects.

The consensus seems to be that the Black Bolt guy is good. At least there's that, I remember the guy from Hell on Wheels and he was pretty badass there.

Yea i cant say cause i havent seen it but according to my friends you can tell what hes thinking by his facial expressions half the time . i dont wanna put any spoilers but according to them by the end there arent many powers left. So they dont have to spend the money going forward. Shows sounds cheap honestly. Shoulda been been on netflix or HBO they woulda spent the money

Actually, no, Netflix wouldn't spend any money. The Defenders shows have already a smaller budget than this or AOS, that just usually doesn't show cause the shows there are all street-level with not much need for CGI. Why did you think Iron Fist didn't show the damn dragon, even though Danny talked about it all the time? Or there was barely any K'un Lun flashbacks? Besides that, Netflix has been cancelling shows that take too much budget to be produced, like Sense8, and there was some reports that they're trying to get "cheap successes" now.

I thought his legs were fine, but mostly because I thought they'd get rid of them entirely. To me, it looks as faithful as you can get on a network TV budget.
I'll try to give my thoughts here. I wanted to comment specifically on the IMAX portion and I'll do my best for the rest.
I posted these thoughts elsewhere, but I'll post them here. Honestly, I thought this was a very solid two hour premiere of a network TV show that will likely be judged harshly by film standards. I don't understand any complaints about the CGI (although there's an obvious budget-saving measure I'll get to when I get to spoiler code). Now it's not "go see this in IMAX" mind blowing. The choice of Hawaii did help a bit since it's at least beautiful to look at, but it kind of just made me wish I could watch the LOST pilot in IMAX.
Now to the specifics:
[spoil]
I think the Inhumans is an extremely difficult project to pull off effectively. I thought they did a good job adapting the different elements. The world building of this Attilan actually worked. Instead of Alpha Primitives, they have a Caste System based on the usefulness of their transformation. The idea of hierarchy based on Terrigenesis is drawn directly from Paul Jenkins's Inhumans run.
But I like the explanation for "Black Bolt's rigid meritocracy" (as Maximus put it). They live on the resourceless moon. They can barely support their population. Because of that, they essentially have a class who has to support everyone else for them to survive (think mutates in Genoshia only those with powers get privileges). When I was leaving, two guys who were in their fifties were commenting that Maximus was actually the good guy and Inhuman society kind of sucks.
Narratively speaking, I thought Maximus's coup was very dramatic and was one of the highlights (particularly when Karnak figured it out and was trying to rescue everyone). I did think some of Maximus's actions after were a bit slow. Hopefully he's given things to do (some of the verbal banter was fine at least). He's too good of an actor to just sit in Attilan doing nothing.
Like I said, I liked the CG for the most part. Lockjaw is going to be the most universally praised. I don't get people's complaints of Medusa's hair. To me, it looked quite good. On the other hand, I'm disappointed that's all they managed to do before taking it off the board for the rest of the series. In fact, I was shocked that the three highest budget items - Lockjaw, Medusa's hair, and Triton were essentially removed from the picture by the end of the first hour. One would have hoped they did more with them while they had the chance. That being said, each one taken off the board made narrative sense and there were similar actions (notably with Karnak but with Black Bolt as well), which were not budget choices at all but were in the same tone.
On the characters, I thought they worked well. Serinda Swan probably bothered me the most, but she grew on me after her hair was shaved. Karnak is a ton of fun. Black Bolt's silent communication (particularly when he's trying to communicate with people from Earth) was good. Gorgon is true to character and the scenes with the Hawaiian surfers were wonderful. Iwon Reon is very enjoyable as Maximus. I didn't like his acting in the trailer, but it's much better in context (once again, the weakest scenes were when he was with Medusa).
Auran is in name only. Honestly, I was fine with her as a villain. The lack of ears bothered me (although I was holding out hope for a while she was just covering them with her weird haircut). In the end, her powers were shown to be completely different so she basically has the same name and kind of same job title, so it's easy for me to pretend she's someone else. She would have been a good casting choice if Auran were in this show, though.[/spoil]
Like I said, this was fine. Would I recommend seeing it in IMAX? I probably wouldn't. I mean, I'm fine that I did since, as a comic reader, I'm clearly bad at making decisions that give me a good value for my money. The $20 I spent here probably gave me roughly the same entertainment as an equivalent five comics would. But I would suggest at least giving this a try on ABC.

Your talking about the defender shows. Netflix has some of the most expensive tv shows per episode ever. And Netflux alotted like 200million for all freshmen seasons and defenders run. It wasnt a single show they shared a budget. Netflix already said they plan on spending more going into 2017 and beyond. Defenders run was a trial and as a trial was a sucess for the most part. But netlfix reportedly is spending 13m an episode on the crown and close to tgat on the get down. What is Inhumans budget btw i honestly dont know?

Proof that having Iron Fist as a Netflix show was a mistake. I think their ambitions surpassed reality. Iron Fist should have been done like Doctor Strange as a big special effect movie blockbuster. It would have been awesome to see Kun Lun and the Dragon and a proper Iron Fist effect. I feel like it's the same with the Inhumans.

I'm hearing the title should be changed to the Unwatchables.
