You seem pretty invested in a show you didn't even watch.
When you love something you hate to see it turned to crap. I love Catwoman so I was angry that they turned out that trash movie. Watching the trailers was just enough of it to know they completely ruined the character
in it. Fortunately we got The Dark Knight Rises and the true Catwoman. Watching just the Inhumans trailer was enough to let me know it was trash too, and it looks like I wasn't the only one who felt that way.
-
Yeah, as somebody who watched it I can definitely attest that the trailers and promo-photos told you everything you had to know about this sorry effort. Saved yourselves lots of time by not watching it.

As someone who wasn't a fan of the inhumans before, I thought the show was interesting. The only problem was that it looked very cheap.
Like Agents of Shield, I feel had they just given it time to grow, it would've gotten better.
Oh well.
-
What they were really cheap with was time. Given the time to really sit down and figure out what they were doing and get the right people in place, there's no reason this couldn't have been a good show.
If Marvel is willing to do that and really wants to save the show, they should take a mulligan, nuke that first season from orbit, and start over. Keep the same actors, even. It was a decent cast and they'd probably be delighted at the chance to do it the right way.
-
I'd love for them to give the show another go. They just need time, money, and a decent showrunner to fix it. I liked most of the cast except crystal, ugh!
Scott Buck, the same guy responsible for Iron Fist.
Oh, and Ike Perlmutter off course, who rushed the entire thing to be produced.
It's a list of people. Notably Loeb and Perlmutter, IMAX approached them with a really really impossible time frame and they both said yes. Then hired Scott Buck because he was already on staff doing Iron Fist, so no need to vet someone else.
The inhumans show failed because it was criminally mismanaged from the first step, if the team who are making AOS amazing as hell right now were given the Inhumans to make as well it would have been amazing but instead the concept was handed to a bunch of hacks.
And then there's ABC's refusal to fix what they broke, IMAX paid for everything so ABC was uninvested in how the show performed, it didn't perform well and needs some solid investment in talent behind the camera and better management to make the budget work and make the show look good. Some exec at ABC has a crazy vendetta against Marvel properties so it's hardly surprising it went this way.
It's just sad they wasted a great franchise.

Surprise, surprise
