Or if it's not, that it is immediately followed by the return of the full F4. But from the way they talk there, this is no mini.

This looks great. I can't wait.
what is the focus of the new series? Ben and Johnny globe-trot trying to figure out how to get to Reed and Sue? Do they just set up themselves as the Fantastic Two?
Pretty much. Does Moon Girl's Fantastic Three arc take place after 2 in 1 starts, I wonder? They were already together there, clearing out some of Reed's stuff that was in storage to give to Lunella (who Ben has previously teamed up with).

Its hard to believe there are people who can say with a straight face that there has never been any hint of Johnny being less than 100% straight....he looks like he just stepped off a Pride parade float! :p
Well, don't his powers mean he doesn't feel the cold? Same reason Iceman doesn't wear much.
People want Johnny to be bi or gay in the worst way possible
What are the best moments of jhonny?
I know it's not a popular duo but I always like Johnny and Lyja pairing! They would make such a fun couple!
What are the best moments of jhonny?
I’m reading the original Lee/Kirby run now...and have to say in many ways I’’m surprised at Johnny’s portrayal there...in many ways he’s the most pleasant and bravest of the four.
I’d say that throughout the run most of the aggro between Ben and Johnny is down to Ben...quite understandably given Ben’s predicament. The cruel edge I associate with some of Johnny’s practical jokes on Ben must have come in later runs.
And similarly in the Lee/Kirby run he’s shown as much less self centred than in many later comics...on the few occasions he “bigs himself up” it comes over that he’s actually poking fun at himself.
So in general to see best of Johnny go back to the early comics.
Mind you..he did have some stand out moments in the Hickman run, notably when he sacrificed himself to save Ben, and ended up in negative zone. And later in the run when he ended up commanding a large space flotilla against the Mad Celestials.
Also when Johny and Sue switch powers stands out in my mind!

I hate to say it, but Johnny is a worse costume designer than Kitty Pryde. If he is gay in any way, he does NOT fit the stereotype of fashionable.
Well, don't his powers mean he doesn't feel the cold? Same reason Iceman doesn't wear much.
what's that have to do with the flaming cowboy boots? they aren't normally worn with shorts. :)

Traction in the snow? Just because the cold doesn't bother you doesn't mean you won't take an embarrassing fall. And I think it's pretty much canon that Johnny is the FF member most in need of Garanimals when it comes to dressing himself.

1) the outfit isn't embarrassment, enough?
2) he can fly
:)

lol
People want Johnny to be bi or gay in the worst way possible
I personally want him to be bi not gay because there are moments throughout his history that make me think he's not 100% straight. Also, it would being more diversity to the Fantastic Four (who are in need of it) and the MU as there aren't many bisexual characters.
I hate to say it, but Johnny is a worse costume designer than Kitty Pryde. If he is gay in any way, he does NOT fit the stereotype of fashionable.
Johnny is probably has the worst fashion sense of the 4, I'd say Ben and Sue have the best (or it's just that Sue looks good in anything).
Johnny had better hope that the F4 are reunited... because the Unity Squad is not continuing beyond No Surrender, #30 is indeed the final issue of Uncanny Avengers.

He belongs with his buddy Ben anyway. He had a good run with the UA.
It's sad the Uncanny Avengers is ending as I really liked that book. However, Johnny never did much in that book so it doesn't effect him much.

He did benefit from some good art. And it was cool reading a book with him and Wade in it. Thought there'd be more banter between them, though.
I want to ser the best moments of jhonny

And speaking of best moments; what you do think about how Johnny was handled within MOON GIRL #25; especially with his reactions toward [spoil]HERBIE[/spoil]....?!??
They actually mentioned that one time Johnny was replaced by that character... breaking the fourth wall, considering it was in a cartoon!:D
I need to read that

The Human Torch stars in "Prisoner of the Wizard!"
The Wizard, a famous inventor and escape artist, is finding his popularity is waning. With the Human Torch's adventures making headlines,
the Wizard blames the Torch for his loss in popularity and so plans to ruin the Torch's reputation.
Planning a stunt which involves drilling deep into the Earth, the Wizard plans to get trapped in order to earn the Torch's trust.

Being "rescued" by the Torch, the Wizard invites the Torch to his state-of-the-art home. Trapping the Torch in a room and dousing him with water.
The Wizard dons a suit that allows him to mimic the Torch's abilities and goes on a crime spree in order to ruin the Torch's reputation.
Johnny manages to escape and when the Wizard gets home, he offers the Torch a challenge:
Having taken pictures of himself putting on the suit that mimicked the Torch's powers,
the Wizard will fight him, one-on-one with no powers for the photos. However, the Torch refuses to play the Wizard's game.
When the Wizard is about to burn the pictures, they suddenly float out of the air and into the Torch's hands.

With the evidence in hand, the Torch has the Wizard arrested after proving the Wizard's guilt. After all is said and done,
Johnny's sister Sue turns visible, revealing that she was the cause of the pictures flying out of the Wizard's hand.

Johny Storm aka Human Torch have been one of my favorites super heroes.
A shame he did not had ongoing comic books as the Thing, but i have been enjoying the Fantastic Four stories with Johny for years now.

Thanks for the info.
I thought the only ongoing comic books featuring stories with just the Human Torch was Strange Tales.
Anyways, interesting to know about that series.
He had a series in the 70s as well, but it was just reprints of Strange Tales and the Golden Age series starring Jim Hammond.

Did not knew about this comic book as well.
The new covers of classic Human Torch stories in that series from the 70´s are quite cool.

lol we are fans too johnny! cool that human torch is back in comics
Marvel Adventures? I don't recognise that Jean costume.
I think it's from X-Men: First Class. I couldn't tell you what issue though.
I liked his brief appearance in the latest Spectacular Spider-Man. He was funny for the few panels he showed up on. https://sirmarkussite.wordpress.com/2017/12/25/peter-parker-the-spectacular-spider-man-298-most-wanted/
