I never was into most of their music but I find this song incredibly catchy. And Sporty Spice looks really attractive here.

It's tricky. I don't have street cred really , but whatever similar thing I do have when it comes to peers would be kinda lost if they knew how light my tastes tend to run. Born this way is an all time favorite album, Mighty Real by Sylvester is one of my favorite songs. Dance and house like Hideaway by Kiesza, Saxobeat by Alexandra Stan, Show Me by Expose, etc.
I really and truly love disco which isn't quite frowned upon, but not at all a hit with anyone else I know.

I love "Wannabe".
There, i have said it.

"Far From Over" by Frank Stallone is my power anthem that gets me back when I hit around Mile 10 on my long run days.
"Easy Lover" by Phil Collins and Philip Bailey similarly gets me fired up, but for basically any reason, not limited just to athletics.

I admit no shame or embarrassment over loving Sweden's second most famous export after only Volvo! :D

Music is a creative and artistic endeavor, it takes talent to play instruments, to write lyrics or to compose said music. That said they really shouldn't be held to a current set of standards of what is most cool. That said there is plenty music **** that Isn't cool so...
I have to follow behind the others that say Disco. It's more to do with liking 70s music as a whole than just Disco per se but that as close as I got (coughcough the occasional Hee-Haw coughcoughkackkackkcak.. ahem, whoo, scusme there...

Some 70s groups I unapologetically like.
America, Seals and Croft, Pablo Cruise, Logans and Messina, REO Speedwagon

My son swiped my Styx "Grand Illusion" vinyl. He will pay for this indignity.

The Monkees. There! I said it! Why they're not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is an unforgivable crime against music!

Stigma does appear to fade with time. Most of the performers named in this thread so far have acquired some degree of respectability.

Credit for Shatner, way to aim for the fences there but Rebecca Black is an institution. Friday was popularized by one of my favorite national sports talk guys on the Steve Czaban show. A couple of years ago it was my alarm clock on Friday. Never got old til it got old though.

Note to self: DON'T type William Hung into a youtube search box. The government can track that stuff.
